I smoked some of this the other day.
First hour was couchlock then just retarded as mentioned.
Very strong smoke. Next time I will use a pipe.

u mentioned u flowered 56 days?wat were u tris at?cloudy or amber?mines on day 56...im haveing trouble determining the tri color..even with my 30x scope!i belive its ready...but still have some pistrils that havent changed color yet?i have very dense buds..so im thinkin its the indica pheono,any adive wud be great!thanks!Ok, this is a review of DNA Genetics RockLock. During my entire grow I have scored the I-net for info on rocklock with only info saying "go rocklock and go couchlock," so here is some info for the archives.
Grow Info Veg:
400 watt MH, with a 18/6 schedule. For approximately 40 days from seed. No nutrients added. I topped during this stage for the 4 cola effect.
Flower:
400 hps, for 56 days. feeding with 1tbs ff big bloom and 1tsp Humboldt honey per gallon every 5 days.
Room temps were around 80 the entire grow.
PS. I grew in subcools super soil for the entire grow, including planting the seeds with a great result. I followed the recipe exactly, and i will continue to use it as long as i grow indoors with soil. I did notice the yield was not as big as i expected but hey its organic bud.
Overall growing rocklock is very beginner friendly, had some hermie problems with other plants but no bananas on the rocklock. All due to a couple of power outages
The smell when i chopped is a fuel smell that is very pleasant and a sure winner for anyone wanting that type of smell. I am still in the drying/curing process and I will update eventually with a smoke report.
If it smokes like it smells then I would be purchasing this strain and not just taking it as a freebie. Any ?s ask.
**UPDATE**
Official weight is 30 grams, with about 7 more grams left on the plant to ripen. Smoke report will come in a couple of weeks.

i grew Rocklock a few times in fact I still have some. It's a creeper high.
It doesn't hit you at first, then you feel it about 20 mins later. It's a good high but doesn't seem to taste like anything special.

Just finished my Rocklock plant 3 weeks ago, first indoor plant, grown in hydroponics with a 600 watt HPS. The seed was actually a freebie. I live in CT, the power went out for a week where I live because of a freak Winter storm right before Halloween. Knocked trees down and power lines because the leaves were still on the trees and the weight of the snow broke branches. Funny its Christmas Eve and it hasnt snowed since. Anyway I had 2 other plants with my Rocklock, Northern Lights and Confidential Cheese 2 weeks into flowering. They didnt make it but my Rocklock did and yielded 35 grams. Very strong, durable plant, that survived a week in 40-50 degrees without light.

Very good bud production with gray crystal buds with lots of orange hairs, very strong skunky smell and fruity taste. I showed a guy at my work a small bud I had in a small jar. Well one of the ladies about 30 feet away started asking everybody if someone killed a skunk, and she started spraying the room with febreze. lol. Only problem with this plant is if you grow it indoors it will stink out your house big time or where ever you grow. I could even smell it in my driveway which was scary, also after that 2-3 hour high, you will hit a wall and pass out. Cant wait for my White Widow and Tangerine Dream in 3 Weeks.

I grow a tangerine strain that is BOMB. You will love the smell and taste. I am currently growing Rocklock and Acid from DNA and Paradise. Only the Rocklock is in flowering but it looks really nice. It stretched a bunch when flowering, not quite as much as the tangerine does though. I do want to say that I ordered 6 fem. seeds from attitude, of the rocklock, and one of them was a male. I only am certain because I threw it in my flowering room just to make sure. I use a homemade mix of soil with all fox farm nutrients.

I found this strain to be pretty good. It flowers like a haze plant I remember. It has very dense buds and kind of a skunky sweet smell. I didn't make a grow journal for this bud but it was very nice to see grow. I noticed I have a few different variations of the plant out of the fem. 5 pack I bought. One actually was a male!!!! Anyways, this is a pic of what I ended up with. It's not completely dry yet and I think the grow space was getting a little warm but it still looks pretty good. This is just a side bud I snatched to smoke until everything is done drying.

35 grams seems like such a small yield.....And that other dude said he got 37 grams off one plant? I've grew auto buddha white dwarfs and yeilded over 30 grams a plant in 2 months start to finish.
I was about to order rocklock feminized seeds seeing they just came back in stock on a certain site, but those yields seems very small, especially after vegging for a few weeks............

Fuckin smells weird as shit too. I've seen a couple goes at it and it's just not good bro. Don't waste anytime with that b/s. Done, move on. I posted earlier and these are my thoughts now......... It is rock fuckin hard though, but so are most hazes.
