Hello everyone,

my sweet little girl is now 53days old(from seed) 3weeks in flower.
everything was fine till she started to stretch real crazy during the first 2 weeks of flowering.
everythings going really well, but im not sure ill have enough space toward the end...i got about 6-7 inches left to move my light upwards...and now keep the light about 4 inches from the top, to stop her from stretching more.

here's some pics:

my question is, will it be enough space ? i still have about 4 weeks to go, maybe even 5 or 6...what you guys/gals would do in this situation ?
i can keep my light (250wSL) about 4 inches away from the top without any problems, but i only have 6-7inches left in my grow room to move the light upwards. :(

Thank you all in advance! :weed:

@Beast, yes i am going to tie her down...got one net holding her on the bottom...gonna use another one on top...and also going to use some rope...cuz i think she'll be getting heavy soon.

@green, thank you :) ...thats pretty easily the best, the biggest and the most healthiest plant i ever had...im very very happy! :)

thanks guys :) ...i think she did stop stretching...in the last 24h almost no stretching at all...just the buds getting bigger...but i don't have a problem with that at all :D

looks like you have enough space but just mabey clip away the little guys from the inside to create more air flow or you may get Powdery Mildew in those areas.

yeah, just did today a little...totally agree with you...i cut a little by little everyday...mainly old leafs...also got a fan blowing from the bottom upwards...so it dosent stay too humid during night times. thanks for the advise! :)

I've found my indoor plants don't need lollipoping.. The only pruning I did was to keep the plant the size i want... removing small weak side branches and the tops that I couldn't control with LST. Inner growth is only useless if you are using non HID lights. With HPS i'm getting close to half ounce of just inner growth per plant.

You can prevent Powdery mildew easily... Don't let temps above 90 and don't let humidity above 60%. Keep plenty of airflow on the plants at all times.

Removing the lower branches is also removing the plants food reserves so the plant has less of a buffer... the plant will more likely be overfed or underfed..

I totally agree with ^^^^^^^^^^^^beastgrow, but you definitely have a little jungle going on there. I'd be a tad bit concerned about moisture retention in there ( and I don't mean in the soil ).

Thank you Beast, for all the help my friend...im really not into chop-chop...its just its getting quite hard to even water the plants lol...i only cut the smallest branches at the bottom and also some old leaves...i dont like to chop-chop, since i had bad luck with it in the past. my temp is around 25-30C during the day and humidity around 45-50% ...during the night, temp can go down to 17-18C and humidity goes up to 60% ...so i should be fine i think. thats the reason i got a new fan in there, before that humidity was going really high...up to 75% during night ...but now it all looks good :D

i have now a very good fan that covers pretty much the whole area...and that really helped dealing with high humidity during night times. but yes it is a little jungle lol...i dint expect it to grow like that...its my biggest plant ever!!! hope i get a large yield! :D
Thanks for the help ;)

You might try Damp rid if you are on a budget, trying to conserve electricity, or trying to dehumidify a really small space.. Dehumidifiers obviously would be the longterm investment strategy.

yes, i got one dehumidifier and used it before buying the fan...works great...but at the moment, with the fan, everything's looks good...but im guessing the bigger the buds become, more humidity there will be in the room...so my dehumidifier will be very useful towards the end, i think.
