Do I need to cure trim?

So I keep my fan leaves and trim in separate bowls I intend to use to make hash. I figured I dont need to cure it because I'm just collecting the kief off the leaves when I make the hash (I plan on doing QWISO).So basically they sit out with no lid just drying in a bowl. Is this enough or do I actually need to cure my trim if I intend to make hash?
