Do poeple really get QP? By putting a clone or seed in ground on augest?

I heard of grand master out door growers like ffd2blk that threw a clone out side and at augest and got 4 Oz. Another thread i read another pro grower was like u can get half a pound if you plant a seed early july. Is that true?? I saw video on you tube a dude vegg a plant for 3 weeks than bud it 4 weeks under cfl in a refrigerater and put it outside and average 2.3 0z a plant. It makes me obsessed cuz i never really use the sun untill this year.

The sun is free, with some drawbacks of course. As for yield, it's going to depend on soil quality, drainage, amount of direct sun, nutrients, strain, etc.

I know a guy in the mountains of NC that starts his clones inside and plants 12" plants outdoors in late spring, after the last snow/frost. He gets up to an elbow per plant on good years, so a QP is not unheard of per plant. I've seen him broadcast on justin.tv and he has shown big huge jars full of buds. He makes tinctures, cannabis butters, goodies, teas, etc.

Best I ever got from one plant was 26 oz dried of White Widow - under the powerful Spanish sun, of course.

Man nature is fucking awsome id nutted twice in my pants if i even get 2 Oz. Im very sensitive to a 12/12 grow which is why im mindlesd and obsessed. Last grow indoor under 600 watts with 12 OG kush clones. I got a total yield of probably less than an 8th! All 12 clones together,For the $$ i spent on clones alone i could have bought half an Oz. And $$ spent on electric i could probably buy another half Oz. This time in a desperate last attempt i vegg seeds for 8 weeks and threw them outside with 5-9 gallons on soil transplant to ground. Amazing they was 7-8 inches and turned to 1.5 to 2 feet in less than 6 days.

The clones werent cut early either, i checked trichomes and they was milky amber
