Do salt based nutrients interact well with organics?

Hi everyone,
I have a topic for discussion.
I used Jack's Classic bloom Booster for a couple years.
When my local nursery closed, I switched to another product called Old Age Organics.
I used Seaweed and Fish, Kelp, Bloom Booster and Veg Nutes.
I had a regimen and it worked well, (no nute defs, or similar probs) but my yields seemed a little lower.
I recently switched back to Jack's and am currently flowering again with the Jack's Bloom Booster.
I start seedlings with the kelp organic liquid, and supplement them in veg with the Seaweed and fish organic at 3-3-2.
Since I grow in a peat/perlite blend, my medium has no nutes or biological sub-culture to speak of, so I have to start feeding early.
I have read the kelp helps with nutrient uptake.
How will it interact with the Jack's when I start feeding it in veg?

I intend to start using the Jack's 20-20-20 nutes for veg, but I like the kelp and have a lot.
I use the kelp liquid for transplanting cuttings and seedlings also.
My concern is the different forms of nutes may cause some sort of lock-out.
Thanks in advance everyone

Had a very similar question - thanks for posting this. Hope it's ok to piggy back onto your thread sir:

I was was also wondering how Dyna-Gro might perform in a pot of Ocean Forest that's been amended with additional organic ingredients. I recall reading the salts from synthetics would destroy the organic components. That it might be better to choose a method (synthetic vs organic) and stick with it.

Can a hybrid approach work?

Thanks Chuck!

So to the OP's question (and mine, I suppose), it sounds like you're saying if used conservatively, the two approaches might actually compliment each other...

That's pretty interesting if I'm understanding correctly.

I have been transitioning with the plants in my veg tent as they go into 12/12 with the Jacks.
I haven't noticed any problems yet. I alternated the last couple weeks feedings with the 20-20-20 Jacks and Age Old Organics seaweed and fish.
I only use 1/4 tsp per gal or about 1.5-1.5-1.5 of the Jacks.
The seaweed and fish is 3-3-2. I have been alternating each feeding.
I mainly don't want to throw away the bottled nutes I bought so I thought I would use them both.
My seedlings absolutely love starting out in the liquid kelp!
I start them in peat/perlite and soak it with the kelp formula.
They really take off.
I hope I can continue this feeding regimen. So far so good.
I'm also concerned about salt based nutes and Bacillus Thurengenius.
Does it inhibit growth of beneficial colonies like Mychorizae as well?

according to the soilguy, it hurts

There are two kinds of Dirt: Skinny Dirt and Fat Dirt Difference is the percentage of organic material/matter in it - which determines the density and diversity of the microorganisms that decompose it. It is the microbial community that turns organic material into organic matter that produces food for new plants - from dead plants.
Skinny Dirt lacks sufficient organic material from which microbes can make enough nutrients - to sustain plants in it. Generally, dirt with insufficient organics means that plants usually just 'survive' unless additional nutrition is added - and hopefully you're intelligent enough to add organic amendments that support microbial reproduction - not synthetic chemicals that decrease microbial populations.
On the other hand, Fat Dirt is highly biological (and therefore nutritional to plants) capable of growing the healthiest plants, quickly, to produce the greatest possible harvest - whether edible or just beautiful. Both terrestrial (land-grown) and aquatic (water-grown) fresh water plants - are my primary focus.

For the longest time I was using General Organic food in veg and then switching to Jack's in bloom (using either FFOF or Happy Frog). If the plants had a problem with the switch over they didn't complain.

I now use Jack's for everything.....with the exception of the rare times I add any calmag or bat guano if needed...and only once per grow.
