do seeds have leaves in the before they sprout

have never know the true answer because i had a seeds that germed but the shell split of before it was planted good seeds to not white not green bown with stripes no cracks either

when i looked indie i saw they rootap but there were no leaves? just a little bulbous thing on top of the root tap???

they're called cotyledons, a storage of starch and oil to feed the plant till it makes true leaves and can then feed itself, there's a par of tiny leaves in there too though.

is it still good since the seeds split i mean it looks like a fuckinsperm cell dude nothin i have ever seen before

yeah that sperm-head homunculus bulb deal is the first leaves which are those little round leaves that die off after 3 weeks veg.
