Hey guys!

Im a tottaly noob on the art of growing and I set up a grow room. I buyed a 1000w led from china (I know about china reputation but i just wanted to give a try) it cost me 520$ dollars, it just arrives

but i think the light is too damm strong for veg..

i got a 80cm X 80cm X 160cm grow tent and I think that the led painel is too much even for floring period. I dont know allready, is just what im thinking..

Now im doin the veg with five 50w CLF's

I got 5 seedlings and one veg plant.

3 skunk auto #1 seedlings

2 Northern lights auto seedlings

and 1 four weeks northern lights auto.

What you think about?

I got too much light for the room? or not?

You think the led will be a problem in the future.. It was a bad deal??

here is the led information

here some pictures of my grow room.

Ahhh by the way.. did you guys notice that one seedling came up with a set of 3 leaves instead as normal 2 leaves set?

how good is that !?

Good.. so im gonna save this 1000w led for the flowering period.. I think a can do the veg by CFL's so the bills dont come too damm hi.. But you guys didnt say anithing about my business on the led!? you think it was good!? this setup is good for the veg!? or a need more lights!?

Sorry I meant to reply to this yesterday. But I guess it really depends, maybe post a link to the website you got it from and I can be more helpful at looking at the LED. Also if you posta picture of the actual light I can get a better idea.

And looking at it, there are 333 LED lights running at 1.5-3 W they typically run at about 2 from what I've read so it's actually a 650W LED which is still good for the price since 120W are around $200. So even if it's running at 520 minimum watts it's still a fair price.
But looking at the LEDs I would have to say that it's more of a vegging light since about 275/300 LEDs are around 650nm and there are only 16 2800k LEDs which will be good for flowering.

But don't get me wrong it will still help with flowering. you just might be more inclined to use it now and then get CLF 2700-2800k bulbs for flowering.

If led is what you have then use it. Do cfl's for veg and use your led for flower. you have a great light there, led is the way to go and that's coming from an old sun/hps farmer...lol

All right! the led seems to be very strong.. I'll keep using cfl's for veg and try the led on the flora stage!!!

by the way..

My northem lights automatic just start to show some white hairs..

Dude, if its an autoflower, leave it at its current lighting for the entire grow! No need to flip to 12/12, they will flower no matter what.

FirstTime was on the right track till he hit the 630nm's...

Its not that you have too much power, you just have too much power or certain nm's that seedlings do not use.

That panel DOES have more white light in them than what their predeccessors had, but still not super.

Blue=Veg Red=Flower, real simple. MH/HPS, CFLs....whatever. 630nm is used through the whole life cycle, but I would say more in Flower than in veg.

630nm is an important wavelengths, but 2/3's of your diodes being JUST 630nm really limits you to Full Veg and 12/12 with that light., or keeping it ~36" from younger things so the spectrum mixes as much as it can before it gets to them..

I would veg with some LED globes or CFLs (4000-6500k) then once things are established they can adjust to the LED.

2300-4000k Warm white or Neutral white supplemented with heavy Red, is the place to be right now. All White for veg. (Neutral or cool) Look at Area 51, or Apache. You don't need a whole lot of red too veg. Its 12/12 you want to be throwing up the 630, 660, 740..... 2700k, etc etc etc.

Whats the dimensions? (inches) Sorry, Im 'merican lol. @ 18" or so you can guess GOOD coverage about 4" outside the panel.
