Do you think I'm an a-hole for asking Attitude to change my freebie?

It was an auto-flower strain... And I told them I've had bad luck (never grown it) and would be happy with ANY other seed they gave. I was very polite and told them thank you, and that I'd understand if they didn't.

Auto-flower just doesn't interest me.

My order was $44.

I think you did the right thing. One of the biggest reasons I havent ever ordered from them is because they never have any freebies that interest me. If I could choose out of a larger list or make changes, I may consider it. So, NO, youre not an a-hole, especially being polite about it.

I did the same thing, all I did was actually ask for them to swap the #3 and #4 freebies as I didn't want to spend another $45 to get the better free seed. They never responded, doubt they really care. It's free so honestly from their side of it, I can see why. If you said you wanted to swap it because it didn't grow well, they'll definitely never answer. They aren't for germinating remember?

You could always wait a day or 2 until the freebies change again.

I always ask Rachel or Laura thru email to Chang the freebies if I don't like them and guess what they always do. So It all good bro.

Yep all the time. It's always a strain I rather have then what they give me for the order.. So I ask if they can switch it and they do.. But make sure email them

I am sick of hearing people bitch about FREE SEEDS. They give ya 10% off and give out premium femenized seeds and people bitch about it. To make things worse most of the people bitching have spent next to no money to begin with. I do not feel the OP did anything wrong by asking for a substitute but for people to whine about something for free to me is crazy.

Love the freebies from attitide, currently growing sour ak and exodus cheese that I got from them. Good luck with the request!

I was looking at getting a repeat on a freebie, i can't remember which one, it was in a promotion one month then the ufo the next and when i sent a message with the order and email they happily swapped the swap seed for something else which happened to be a moby dick, fitting nicely in the collection..

Blueberry gum was a freebie and it rocks......

I usually like their freebies because its never something I would purchase myself, so I still get to try them out without investing into them.
On the other hand, auto seeds are bird feed for me. I will not use up space in my very limited grow area for an auto.

Dude...they are free seeds. One time I was passing by some bum chick looking for a handout. I gave her a dollar. She said is that all you got. I said yep, took my dollar back, and told her to fuck off.

When you get free shit don't complain.

Now, if they are willing to exchange them, that's awesome.

Yeah I have often thought it would be nice if I were in an area I could plant them in the backyard and let them do what they do. Unfortunately, my local law enforcement agency would love for me to do that at this point.

no man, not at all, you are not an azzhole for asking you can even step it up a bit and ask for just one bean of a sold out item. its yours if available. designate your free shirt to. they are good people doing good business over a hundred different strains in three years paid for, plus the freebies, one i remember the dna lemon skunk became a keeper in my 15 strain perpetual grow the first time, now for over two years i stock lemon skunk weekly !! all the weed seeds i received a germed were very good smoke, healthy authentic strains. some better (for us) than other, but all were great. the lowest scoring plant ever here is super lemon haze, a crop of 8 girls, weed tasted grew nice, but just didnt tick all the boxes.
The best weed in the world is bred by tga subcool. its name(s) are PlushBerry and other is Ace of Spades, dammit they goooood, in thirty yrs of using, and over a hundred strains grown and smoked, hope that counts fer something.
