Do you think this bulb is legit?

I need two bulbs for a ballast I bought and I wanted to use 210's to run along some led boards I have. You think these are really Phillips? Also I was thinking about getting one 3100k and one 4200k to mix spectrums. would I be better off just getting 2 3100k's?

most people use 3100 to great sucess. genuine philips arent that much more expensive and if you think of long bulb life are prob worth the money

I appreciate your reply, I thought buying a 4200k would give me a better option if i wanted to veg with it. The bulbs i'm talking about are on ebay and they ARE Phillips allegedly, but the price is 49 bucks so maybe not. I read a review on amazon saying that one sellers bulbs were not legit. If someone be so kind as to give me a like I could post links

Also does anyone know of a source for pgz18 sockets or socket assemblies? I don't really want to use the adapters unless I have to.

the vertical reflectors from hydrofarm are high quality, and $300-$350 for a reflector bulb and ballast is a good deal on a system you'll get a long life out of

they have about the same lumens per watt. FWIW

So do you have an opinion on whether the bulbs in the link are genuine?

Its unprotected that's why it's cheaper.

Makes sense, I guess its worth 20 bucks extra not to burn the house down lol.

pretty sure that shields you from a lot of UV as well. what's your eyesight worth?

@CobKits Is it worth the extra money to get the Pgz18 sockets instead of the adapters? The manufacturers claim pgz18 sockets are "better"
