Do you use a dehumidifier in your tent?

Trying to decide off of anyone's own experiences, which unit to invest in.

-Which one do you use?
-Did you modify it so the water goes through a hose like runoff instead of building up in the unit's res?

I use a 50 pint vremi dehumidifier. You want to get one that goes by pint size. And you would want to run it in the room that the tent is in, not the actual tent. Good luck

I don’t use a humidifier in my tent. I think it depends on the strain, and what stage you’re in?
I am new and growing OG Kush FYI.

transpiration raises humidity in the tent, and if the humidity gets too high I risk bud rot and powdery mildew

My bad, read your topic as, “Do you use a humidifier in your tent”. I live near fresh water so ambient humidity is 43% and it’s pretty cool this time of year. No need for dehumidifier or humidifier.

Depends how bad I’m fighting with the humidity. I run my dehumidifier outside of my grow space and my humidifier it depends how bad I’m fighting with keeping humidity up. In the summers it’s very humid here and come winter it’s very dry.

I have mine in my tent. Dehumidifying your room would require a nice size dehuey. I tried running mine in the room and it didn’t really do much. Once I put it in the tent it changed everything dramatically. See the attachment for the model I have. It has the ability to set the desired level of dehumidification which is extremely helpful. I don’t use the hose because the reservoir doesn’t exactly fill up that fast, but in the event it does, the machine has an auto shut off feature if it’s full. You will notice when it’s not working because your humidity will shoot through the roof at night. I also have a hygrometer that really doesn’t serve a purpose in terms of reducing humidity because the machine does it on its own, but it does help with kicking in my humidifier when needed.

Yeah my dehumidifier is savage. I put it in the middle of the room outside my grow space and I have to shut it down sometimes because it’ll drop the humidity in the grow space down into the 30’s lol.

Wow!! What kind of dehuey do you have? Mine is good, but it ain’t that good.
Off the top of my head I can’t remember. I’m almost positive it’s a Frigidaire just not sure on model. I will look tomorrow morning though and let you know!
