Does anyone add lemon or lemon peels to get that lemon smell

I tried using a food grade natural orange flavor that was extracted with alcohol(can find in most baking aisles), I dipped a qtip into the flavoring and wiped down my Pyrex before I blasted. The flavor and smell really came through, although it seemed a bit harsher than normal. The wax was purged for 8 days starting at 90 degrees and ending around 110.

I've spent years playing with this. here are my findings involved in manipulating terpene profiles.
I didnt find any efficacy adding anything fresh to the soil(indoors) but composting pine needles, oranges, lemons, pineapples
fruits etc did have dramatic effects on like profiles. I was not able to make a lpinene profile change into a dlimonene one but could put the pine profile over the top, lemon, orange, pineapple etc with these techniques.. It takes me about a year to compost any of those items naturally, to a powder even.

I liken it to new apples vs old apples for instance. those old apples fall and compost over years and supply the soil naturally with everything the plant wants, same goes for many fruits and veggies. the older apple trees produce better fruits.
I cant bring myself to compost viable good weed to prove this out.....and
maybe not the reason but it lets me sleep soundly.

for oils- nobody likes flavors added to quality made oils. no excuse for off flavors today, the jig is up and we all know how to make quality flavors naturally. low heat, fast wash, solvent removal etc. the wicked awesome capture of essential oils and their profiles is the art, its the game, the prize, to cover this up with other flavors seems disingenuous somehow maybe if sold.

that said, professional oil makers are adding dlimonene to their oil, 5% I believe.

I tried this, I vaped this oil along with my own. the results are stunning. terpenes(the entourage effect) are responsible for much more than effects and flavors, but also for the delivery modes of medicinal compounds. Dlimonene breaks the blood brain barrier super fast allowing differing effects for the users. I have many of the cannabis related terpenes and have vaporized them alone and in combination with cannabis oils-

conclusion= if you want different flavors use different weeds
if you like to add stuff to your personal stash go for it!

weed or oil......
I'll take mine neat thank you

I've been doing some experimentation with vaporizing individual terpenes and noting the effects, as well as the taste and smell. Two that I highly recommend ya'll check out, is Linalool and b Myrcene.

Linalool provides the relaxed catholic perspective, and b Myrcene the couch lock, that we've typically ascribed to cannabinoids.

My dabbing station includes both, along with THC-a and CBD-a crystals, for custom dabs starting with Clear coated in crystals and followed up with a dab of Linalool. Everyone I've demonstrated that to has said it was an eye opener, and those returning typically ask for a dab of Linalool following a custom dab of concentrate and crystals, noting that it seems to round out the experience.

My favorite is Live Resin, coated with THC-a crystals, followed by a dab of Linalool.

will you expound on this?
Linalool causes me to be a relaxed remote non critical observer.

In meditation there is awareness and a quiet center from which you are aware that you are aware. It isn't controlled by the Limbic system, so it has no emotions and can quietly observe.

I use the word catholic in the sense that from that calm center, feeling relaxed, having sympathies with all, broad minded, and liberal (non critical):

cath·o·lic
[kath-uh-lik,kath-lik]
ADJECTIVE
1.broad or wide-ranging in tastes, interests, or the like; having sympathies with all; broad-minded; liberal.
2.universal in extent; involving all; of interest to all.
