Does anyone else perch when they poop?

So here's another confession of mine. I know it's stupid, but it's actually something I've never told anyone... and I mean nobody, not even my ex whom I was with for over a decade and known about 15 years. In fact the only people that know about it is my parents and siblings, and as far as they know that was just something I did as a child. It still gets brought up once every other year, and I just played it off like that was a thing of the past.

Would you like to know more? It all started when I was about three I think. I was sitting on a big boy toilet taking a poop by myself, when suddenly I look down into the toilet And noticed a cricket floating in the water. I remember it scared me, but I really had to poop, so I kind of perched on the seat like a bird would and did it that way. I remember the next few times I had to poop I was still afraid there might be something in the toilet, so I continued to perch. It didn't take long for me to get used to that way, and basically I've been pooping like that ever since, here I am 33.

On the plus side I've noticed it's a lot easier for me to do things squatting then usual people. I can stay in a squat position practically all day if I wanted, while after a short time most people would have to sit down. That actually comes in really handy in my grow room.

So yeah, that's something I've been keeping to myself my whole life, and have always thought that I have to be the only person in the world that poops that way. I've also been terrified if anyone were to walk into the room and catch me pooping like that. Like I couldn't imagine that would be a weird site...

Of course I still go sitting down if I absolutely have to, like if I'm in public or a friends house. Pretty much if I'm not home then I'll go sitting down, which is probably less than 10% of the time.

I don't know if it's because I'm so used to it now, but it seems way easier to poop in the perching position. I definitely don't have to push as hard it seems, and it's more thorough. Seems like when I sit down to poop, I push harder and I can't get it all out resulting in another poop I'll have to take hours later.

I don't know what made me think of all this, and why im suddenly bringing it up now, but it is something that I've been thinking about for the past few days, wondering if it's not so uncommon as I've always thought, or do y'all think it's pretty weird and I should probably continue going about not telling anybody..
