That's funny, when I grew Blue Mystic from Nirvana a few months ago it was very picky as well:

I'm finished with Nirvana, unstable genetics and nute picky plants with average potency.

Damn, and I just re-ordered from them for my next grow. Who are you going to use from now on?

The attitude is where I get seeds if I need them, but Im a MMJ patient so I can just get some clones anytime from the clubs in the area.

Try Paradise Seeds, Magus Genetics, TGA Subcool, Sannie's Seeds, those are all top notch breeders with highly stable strains and high potency available at The Attitude

you really should feed them bro. even if you use soil that has nutrients premixed into the soil.. those nutrients don't last too long.. the premixed nutes will only last about 4 weeks before they totally disolve into the soil.

Your plants aren't nute burned... how can a plant get nute burn when its never had any nutes?!? Come on now.. use your head!

peace..
better luck next time.

yay...finaly someone that can see there isnt a nute burn...lack of food burns. they cant intake more than they need so you cant burn by food. and for those that think the nutes salt up...they are a salt new in the bottle. all salt build up means is build up of foods. and yes that can burn as it usualy drops the ph so the plant cant eat it and continues to build till you get lock up. you can feed full as a seed and not burn if you run enough through each time to allow the old food to be flushed out...its a waste but has been done

But it did have nutes! This is from the original post:

This is like my 6th grow. I've always used Fox Farm Ocean Forest. PH is always between 6.0 and 7.0 in all the grows. This time I only used 1/4 of the recommend nutes on the Foxfarm chart and I only fed them once.... other than that its been all water. Immediately after the one feed they started doing this. I'm just tired of it. Is it possible to grow without using any nutes at all? These plants just seem way to finicky. Also are these ones going to make it? They always have before but they're pretty early in flowering still... usually I've never had the problem til later in flowering. :-(
They were fine UNTIL I fed them. That's when the problems started.... and I only used 25% of the recommended dosage.

so lets get this right you never gave your plants any food till you put them into flower and the first time you hit them with 1/4 recommended it all went to shit? Right so far? Well it can only be the food, they get the same water all the time and they look amazing in the before picture. Get bigger pots. So the only thing your doing different is the food. Toss it out and but new food and get some Cal-Mag stuff and good food. Do it now! Feed them 50% the recommended on the label till you see new growth than go to 75% for the next 3 weeks than 50% to finish. Don't put any magic sauces or next great thing in with them. Your yield will be low and well if they recover fast the power my be just fine. You messed up the stretch growth time so they won't grow to high. If you got some neem this would be a real good time to use it.

If you are going to use FF ocean forest you need to cut it with something like light warrior or perlite and pet moss. And if you can get different nutes. Or try making your own guano tea or guano tea concentrate. i started out growing using all FF products and ocean forest and constantly ran into leave discoloration, wilting and especially curling. Now i use Roots Organic and Canadian Peat moss with other goodies added and a barely even need to feed. For bloom i just use a little Canna Bio- Flores, Fish emulsion, and Guano concentrate from Budswell in 1/3 to 2/3 doses AT MOST. I never use 100% doses of anything that i use as far as the label reads. Uncut FF ocean forest is notorious for problems like burning and this looks like the case once again. Sorry to see it.

That's exactly right. I just read this:

https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/8596-nutrient-lockout-explained.html

"Lockout will display the same symptoms as nutrient deficiency; to help control this problem dispose of old liquid feed containers as you would old medicine and use fresh nutrients from a bottle that has recently been opened."

LOL, my nutes are pretty old, probably a couple years. I've also been reusing the same feed container, but didn't think it was an issue because I rinse it out thoroughly every time. This probably explains why the problem has gradually become worse through the grows. Guess it's time to buy some new nutes and get some new containers. It just sucks because the nutes are expensive and they come in such big bottles it takes forever to use them up.

dude no man dont listen to them. its a plant and its very simple. there was no lockout. the ph didnt automatically flip over 1 simple fert at 1/4 strength. what happened is when u switch to budding those crystallizing buds sucked all the P n K outta ur soil and u barely ferted once. they were made to be potent, and with that demand lots of food. trust me my babys i water w/ ferts every time, and they dont burn. thats a phosphorus deficiency FOR SURE!!- check out http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 great site for info :) GL dude.

kinda contradicting saying they need lots of food but yet you feed at 1/4 dose. and again....food dont burn. lack of food burns. he fed once and its not a lack of food????...lol...ok

all these charts and other advice is funny when you answered it yourself by sayin no food till late in the grow and only once.

dosent matter what nutes, its the plant that wont uptake more than it needs anbd for organic is because the plant cant uptake it period till its changed to a useable form first so its a slower process.

If your worrried about burning them and want to give them nutrients. Just avoid base nutrients. The best product for this is Liquid Karma. It has nitrogen free carbohydrates and a full macro/micro spectrum. It amazes me everytime I use it to transplant to bigger containers.

karma isnt a nute and again nutes dont burn..they cant. karma is humic acid and molasses. its meant to feed the microbial in the soil and thats all. plants dont uptake that form of sugar, the sugar or carbs feed the microbes and thats what turns the stuff into food, ...and those make the nitro

It's definitely lock out. I have been using ff, and noticed after two flowering seasons the same indication. I then checked th ph of my mix of grow big and big bloom, and found it to be about 4.0-4.5. Added ph up at about 10 ml to get to ph6, problem solved. Dint overlook the obvious dude. My plants are healthy and strong since correcting this mishap. Flush, triple check ph (never heard you mention how you adjusted the ph) and lotsa luv. My 2 pennies.

Check your water. My water was too hard. Started symptoms on this grow FFOF with no nutes at all. Came to find out my water was high in calcium locking everything else out. More nutes just aggravated...flushing with distilled then going back to light nutes
