does anyone use the nanolux flip 1000watt ballast.?

i have a question . i was looking for a ballast for my other hood . and came across the nanolux flip where you can run 2 reflector hoods off it.. the question is would i have to run 400 watt bulbs or 1000 watt bulbs but at 50% cuz its dim-able . thanks

i fig. it flips between the two so i can have 2 separate rooms . and it goes back and forth , not 2 at the same damn time . kinda cool . i think
