Seems like this would be an inexpensive way to keep auto seeds around. Also Ive killed one auto seed trying to germ under a 100 watt lamp in peat moss ( turned into an easy bake oven peat moss cake), Ive killed one trying to germ under 1/2 inch of 707 organic soil. Ive had two sprout using the paper towel technique and planted them lighty in peat....sprout shot up with seed cap then fell over (is this normal) the other one, the white root came to the surface first, so ive sprinkled a little more peat on top of it...dont know whats going to happen with this one yet.
So as you can see, eventually I need a cheaper way to get auto seeds. I Just wasted $60.00 and have $120.00 more in route...ps Ive not put my two seedling under my t5s yet...there outside in solo cups covered with plastic wrap...any info would be appreciated, seems like this is the easy part for everyone else.:-?

well 1st off.. I have seen many auto seed come up and not be able to fully open the seed shell so it needs to be pulled off before the seedling stretch out looking for light, if my auto have not fully opened by the time there 1" tall I will pull them open, have 3-4 in 20 do it...be careful though...
2ed... get them inside under your light 20/4 light schedule... they will do way better inside then out...

yes you can make auto seeds by crossing male x female auto. for starting seeds, just use peat pellets as directed and you will get good success. another thing, why do you have seedlings outside if you plan on putting them inside under a t5?? your just begging to get bugs and invite problems to your room.
