i have a under-sink passive filter system that sais it removes chlorine taste but does that mean it removes all of it? i used to let my water sit for 24hours before using it but since i have had this dual filter i havn't been doing that. is there more benefit to letting the tap water sit then just letting the chlorine dissipate? having lots of issues lately and trying to rule out everything. thanks

My water comes out of the tap at around 8, I then filter it through a Brita pitcher and it's around 5. If I let it sit out for 24 hours it's at a perfect 6.5. Obviously personal to my situation, but just wanted to throw it out there. So I would yes it's best to let it sit for 24 hours
