Does it matter when to get Clones..???

Hi Guys,
Does it matter taking clones off a plant that is well into it's flowering phase??
For example if it is say 6-8 weeks into flower could clones be still taken off the very bottom branches that are under-developed and not have big buds on??
Or is there no way this is possible as it's near the end of it's life???

it is indeed possible, but the chances are much lower from my experiences.
if its a strain you really want to keep around, take a few to make sure one roots.

I would not go past second week if I had a choice, because the reveg time gets too long and the flowers afterwards dont turn out as good and dont root as easy.

You can take a cutting all the way up to
the day of harvest. Taking the branches
on the bottom are best as they are the
most mature and more woody.
Some say it takes up to 21 days to root
but I got some blue dreams buds to root in 9
days so it varies.
