In Mexico We don't have a forth of July. We celebrate hour independence on the 15 of September.
Trust me, the 15 of September party in Mexico lights up brighter than any forth of July. Ore maybe I haven't been on the right places to celebrate the fourth of July.

Mexico is coming to us, we don't have to move. My neighborhood is becoming a Barrio. We even have the guy with the ice cream hand cart rolling through the hood. What's next,. the Tamale lady with her basket of home made tamales, I might just have to go and buy some of those, every old mexican lady I ever saw selling tamales had good ones. I love mexican food, and I really don't mind mexicans. I just wish they'd fix their country instead of coming here and taking "Jobs that Americans don't want", ~LOL~, right. They're taking the 15.00 an hr. jobs for 6.00 and bringing down wages everywhere. I guess if you want to live like a Barrio Mexican everything is on track. The Grafitti has already started, The city has kept after it pretty well. They have a grafitti truck that rolls with a sprayer and covers the crap up pretty quick. I'm stuck in my house, at least untill the price returns to somewhere near 250K at which time, I'd like to make a move. On a block with 12 houses (Cul-de-sac) 3 of us aren't other than white. The thing is, you can't talk to your neighbors and I'll be damned at my age if I'm going to learn spanish. If I move south, I'll learn it. But I think they should learn english.

I'm sure the natives weren't hatefull when they were overrun by immigrants. hey that's why we have thanksgiving right. One day the mexicans will have there day of thanks in america.

The day that my country get's absorbed into america I'm moving to china. Ok maybe south america. I love the aztecs too. been to a few ruins, very cool.
They already do have their day of thanks up here, it's called Cinco De Mayo, which probably roughly translates, as thank you you stupid crackers for agreeing to house us, give us jobs, so we can strip your economy of money by sending it home to our families. Thank you for allowing us to corrupt your cities, and kill your citizens, and then have another one of your citizens defend us for nothing, because it's humane. Thank you for not rising up and killing us off like the rabid pests we are, and being ignorant fools that do not speak out against us when your cities act in our favor by preventing the INS from coming in and rounding us up.

The problem isn't that they are immigrants, the probably is that they are illegal.

Though I am curious about what's wrong with the Leave it to Beaver Picture.

Hell, my family was able to do that when I was growing up. It was nice. Good home made food, an adult that was around to make sure I did my homework and acted responsibly.

What's wrong with that?

Oh, wait, you might be objecting to the fact that in that picture it's the woman that is at home. I don't really care which parent is at home, as long as it is one of them. Either one would be able to do good... well, assuming they were both responsible.

Or maybe you work for a daycare center, and would end up with a lot less kids to take care of if people did that...

men used to tip their hats.

people said please and thank you.

we held doors open for each other.

gave up our place in line to the person who had fewer items.

smiled.

waved.

said "keep the change".

...
Don't wear a hat

Usually do say please when I'm ordering at a restaurant, and say thank you.

Don't go shopping that often for a lot of stuff, but I have had people do just that when I've had one or two items. Which is great.

Smiling and Waving - Normally you only do that with people you know. So thus the problem becomes one of a lack of community. It is kind of hard to know a lot of people when you are busy chasing the almighty dollar, trying to get out of debt, because the government is confiscating your money, and then bills eat up the rest.

Well, now a days, saying keep the change on a meal might be insulting if the meal is $19.38 after taxes, and you pay with a $20, but normally I tip 20% - 40% (I've also tipped over 50% a few times in the last year, good service deserves recognition)

What can you do?

The key to rebuilding America is not government, the key to rebuilding America is to re-unite the communities and get people to talk again.

Though it's interesting. Was at the bank today and stopped to talk to the banker that I know. Just saying hello, because I was there, and had spoken with him before.

Though I do like the lay out at the branch. They have the bank managers stationed in the center so you can see them, and the counter to make deposits and speak with tellers is off to the side.

There's an Idea, put managers in full sight at all facilities. If there are problems, they should have to deal with them, that's why they make the big bucks. Seems like most managers like to remain out of sight, like don't bother me, I'm busy. My question is, doing what. If you'd have been doing a good job of managing, we'd not be in this recession/depression?

I'd be able to hire someone to pick my fruit and do my dishes, cause I would make the wage I should.

I live in canada near the U.S border and since I was a kid there has been alot of mexicans coming here as well. Right from my first job on at 16 I was getting under cut by these ppl. The company has to pay us canadians at least minimum wage cause we have our social insurance numbers etc. But alot of companys would sooner pay the mexicans a few buck less (under the table) and the mexicans were happy as shit to be earning a (mexicans) months salary in a day. Although my hourly wage was more than most they took home more $ cause they didn't have to pay tax, employment insurance, CPP(canadian pension plan. etc.

Sounds nice! I guess we could all trade countries. heheh. When I was down in mexico I met a retired guy from canada who got a divorce from his wife so he could marry a mexican girl who wanted to move to canada.
Basically he married the mexican girl so he could buy some land there, she married him so she could be a legal canadian. And he flies the (ex)down every two weeks when the retirement check comes in. Everyones happy. He told me he would pay me 10 bucks a day if I wanted to stay and help build his property up. That would have been like twice the average wage down there, so when I look at it that way I could have stolen a possible job back from a mexican.
Opportunities are everywhere I don't blame the mexicans, we give them the opportunity.

Think pimples. Think video games. Think smelly socks. Think hormones running wild. Think bedrooms where clothes go to die. Think teenagers.

Teenagers are not human. There is a large gap between 12 and 20 where their brains get lost.
