The only way to kill my powdery mildew problem is to spray in mid flower which I'm worried about. The stuff i'm using is omri certified but has anyone sprayed and still had good tasting/smelling bud?
Does spraying in flower ruin buds?

Use a product like green cure. It can be washed from the bud and is potassium carbonate. As safe as Bicarbonate of soda. You can eat this product. Might give a stomach ache maybe maybe not....but non toxic. I wash all my buds before hanging in a 5 gallon bucket of ice water. The water washes it and the cold preserves the tri-chromes...or so they say. Nothing is written in stone.

The trichs hang. Trust me. It's why it takes heat or solvent to extract or remove. Once you wash bud you have grown and see what comes out you'll never look at street bud the same. It doesn't delay drying either.

I believe in washing it and tric being preserved on flowers. Just everyone has an opinion so I leave it open to interpretation. Then there's always newbie ' whos been told something they hang on to as truth. And I know I dont have all the answers..just a couple once in a while...

Do not use sulfur in flower. Anything that leaves a resadew regardless of how safe it is will alter the taste of the flower. Dust that is sticking to the trikes will not wash off. I prefer to use flying skulls nuke-em. I would suggest a post harvest bath with the nuke em just to make sure you got it all. Pm is not good for you lol

I sprayed a few buds with the green cure last night and there's actually no sign of the mildew there anymore. but will do the post bath too. Also why not use sulfur? i've been burning it for a few weeks now and last harvest haven't noticed anything

PM /Powdery Mildew is no biggy no chems should be used if your harvest date is close
reduce water and monitor close is all
if you must.... cover buds with napkin and spray the plant with neem
but like I said Pm in no biggy
