"The leader of a white supremacist group cited by Charleston church murder suspect Dylann Roof made $65,000 in donations to Republicans"

Can't read correctly through the bubble or what?

Not surprised at all, since my gf just told me the same thing.
The candidates are basically forced to take money from as many sources as they can, due to the threat of other candidates raising more money against them.
They are all in pocket, Bernie proposes a whole new way, public funded campaigns.

He asks can any candidate win an election without the support of the big money PACs.
If not them the elections will always be bought.

fail. read again folks:

The campaigns of Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and Rick Santorum said they would donate the money received from Earl Holt, leader of the Council of Conservative Citizens, to a fund set up by Charleston's mayor to assist the victims' families.

"I abhor the sentiments Mr. Holt has expressed," Santorum said in a statement. "These statements and sentiments are unacceptable. Period. End of sentence."

Rep. Mia Love of Utah, an African-American Republican woman who was elected to the House last year, said through a spokesman that she had returned $1,000 in donations.

Holt made some $65,000 in donations to Republicans, including several White House hopefuls, The Guardian newspaper reported Sunday night.

Okay, fair enough.
But why did that leader of a white supremacist group donate money to the GOP and not the Dems?
What does the GOP do for him? Know what I'm saying?

My best guess would be that they held similar ideals.
I would also bet there are a few Dems that got a check also.
