Don't hate me please... Plant diagnostic questions

Ok finally got the courage to post... I've read through so many posts about deficiencies and abundances that my head hurts and nothing seems to directly match my issues... I'm thinking a magnesium or calcium issue with a mix of over fert. I'm growing in ocean forest soil. 3 white grapefruit(two in smart pots on in plastic) 1 blueberry headband in plastic. Botanicare "kind" ferts (base, veg, bud). 600w (debatable) LED. Temps range from 68-79F. These are all monster cropped clones, and I am 27 days into flower. Any help would be great guys! Glad to be part of the community and can't wait for the knowledge to flow!

Pic is attached with ratios. Also forgot to mention that the little plant in the middle(with lots of light green and yellowing) is the headband and the others are grapefruit. Also I mix at 1/4 strength and feed once a week by the schedule on the bottle.

Thanks!

Hmm, 27 days.......Your N is low and the P&K is high..

Next time do not add the bloom until week 3 after you start 12/12

Base = full strength +25% one time...Then full
Grow = full strength
Bloom = 1/4 - 1/2 strength

per gallon

Listen to Doc...

I was considering giving the Kind Line a run on my next grow... Kind of forgot about it and now I'm reminded and must go buy it...

thanks Dr. Is there anything I can do right now to help or just continue from this point the way you described? Also I have two different strains and they both exhibit different things. Which one would this benefit? I'm assuming the headband(small yellowing plant) since the grapefruit(larger plants with a few yellow leaves) don't really exhibit signs of N defiency. Also could you help me understand what led you to that conclusion. Thanks guys!

Bump. Still haven't solved the issue, as I don't know what it was I flushed everything out with a low strength complete nutrient solution, with a small amount of N just in case hoping it was just a lock out issue. Any help would be great. Thanks folks.

You shouldn't flush with any water mixed with nutrients... The point of flushing is to get rid of everything... If you must flush use pH balanced water. Let them do their thing until they are ready for their next feed... At this feed do everything Dr. Who says for your nutrient solution

I thought the point of flushing was to get rid of built up salt that is keeping the plant from
Getting the nutrients it needs? Almost every remedy in George Cervantes book says to flush with mild balanced nutes 2-3 times the container size. Is this incorrect?

1: Water - feed - water - feed. Alternate one then the other and do it for all the plants you have. This is how it needs to be done.

How did I know,,,,,,,You over feed the P&K by adding it right at the flip to 12/12......The color of the leaves along with the pattern of yellowing as in bottom to top and the way the leaves are color patterned....Told me so.
The high P&K tend to block N from proper uptake......The plant adjusts to need some less N after the "stretch".

Why flush? Flush only creates more problems.......There is no flushing that would help at this point......The plant needs something more.....NOT something less...IF you have certain overfeeding and "burn" problems (you do not have "burn") then you would simply use straight pH'ed water - maybe some Ca/Mg in it for a week - no nutrients.....works better then flushing!

JORGE DOES NOT have all the answers right.....OK?

Now then, you should know here, that any correction in the plant won't show for 5-7 days in soil! You didn't even give it 3!
This exact problem will not show the leaves to "recover" much......It should slow down the progression of the yellowing....

Now start feeding the extra N ration I gave you for 2 feedings now please....Then 100%.....

Ok I'll get on it doc. Also I think I remember reading that some LEDs can change leaf color? Is this legit? Because this yellowing happened a couple days after I added another light to my grow.

Thanks for your help fellas

Hmm... Im considering switching to led... Hope that isn't a problem
Well I was using a "Apollo horticulture" branded LED for awhile and it didn't cause that to happen... But then I bought a cheaper one figuring they were all the same just branded differently for marketing. Wrong... The cheaper one is for sure cheaper, it's lighter and you can see inside it has way less parts and heat sinks than the first one I bought. But the light from the new one has way more purple red tones to it than the other. Moral of the story.. The plant didn't yellow until a few days after I put the new light in and it was sitting directly under it... I moved it to the other light to see if it changes. I'll update if it does. Other wise all I can say about LED is that it works, it seems to be equal to or cooler than CFL temps, and it penetrates way further. I have decent dense flowers all the way down to 15" below the light. And on my last grow I got .4 grams per watt with minimal feeding, in soil and it was my first time with LED. Also don't trust what the label says for watts. Mine are both rated 300w but the nicer one is about 180w and the shitty one is 140w. Sorry for the rant, hope some of it helps.
