DOn't Know What I Got but it's budding...

Hey guys, It's been a minute since i posted. Excuse the slang, I mean like a couple months.

Anyway, one of my non growing friends gave me some seeds he claimed were a Jack Herer strain. I germinated a couple of seeds and grew them up as I usually do, under florecent lights untill they were large enough to put under my high pressure sodium. They were about half the size I grow them to when I was inspecting the plants and low and behold, one of the girls was expressing. Nice fat white hairs.

I have never grown an auto flower before but since I had these plants on 24 hour continuos light, I am figuring that's what I got.

Any opinions?

Cannabis will preflower according to strain and age .. These are indicative to the plants sex .. I doubt its an auto if it was passed to you as Jack .. Best of luck with the grow ...

We will see, I have it in a heated green house recieving natural light. In my neck of the woods that means well over 12 hours of darkness. However, as the days lenghten we will see if the budsmature.

Anyone else want to chime in on this?

Professor, you were dead on. I had never seen a plant preflower before but this one isn't continuing to bud. Honestly I have never grown an autoflowering strain. Started growing back in the 90's at first with a Phototron (memba those?) and have always been a light cycle man. Shit, I didn't even know auto flowers existed until the whole internet thing. I just started with bag seed and cloned my ass off. It's fun to think how much info is out tere that is totally over kill. I got Rosenthals book and a few months later I was smoking for free. I am sure I didn't read the whole book, never did back then.

Anyway, I got some Super Lemon Haze Autos through a bank and I'm going to give em a try.Was thinking about starting them in side and moving them outside in June. Ever tried that?

anything under 18 hours will make your plant show signs. if i were you id do a "12 12 from seed" deal and just make sure they get a full 12 hours of sleep greenhouse buds rock!!!!
