and that my friend is why humans will have TOTALLY ruined the planet in a blink of an eye, because we presume to know what "ends justify the means"
so you dont think its worth it? you think it would be better to have more human beings across the world starving? Now u sound cruel hearted and ignorant.

who said emissions, im talking about gasoline vapor, you breathe it when u pump gas. It is only mildly dangerous in the small amounts we receive so we risk it cuz we like driving cars, sounds like a certain herbicide we risk using because the risk is low and the benefit is high.
don't be a tool.
emissions are anything your vehicle creates.

e·mit
əˈmit/

  1. produce and discharge
Pretty sure the gas pump is emitting it, but hey i could be wrong.

so a vapor that has never been inside your vehicle can somehow be emitted from your vehicle? u do know what the word emit means right?
it IS in your vehicle MAN.
gasoline has an extremely high volatility rate (that means it evaporates easily)
the vapor coming OUT of your tank was INSIDE your vehicle.
Really?
you are gonna argue with a state certified licensed smog tech?
good luck on that

Pretty sure that pump would emit gas vapor even if my car wasnt even present.
you need to understand physics, doesn't surprise me that you have a rudimentary grasp on it..
the vapor isn't from the pump, that's all LIQUID.
the fumes are from the liquid gasoline displacing the evap fumes in your empty tank.

Gasoline produces vapor from its liquid form when it touches air..... if u spray gas on the ground u will still breathe vapor, it has nothing to do with the car. You really dont understand this?

personal messages are a thing guys. you've went from a discussion to slinging shit and any moral high ground or points you were trying to make have devolved into ad hominem attacks simply because one doesn't agree with the other.

So you are saying that no herbicide on earth that has been linked to cancer should be used? Half the population of earth would starve. You sound smart.
No they wouldn't starve. For Pete's sake we have been around for a while before big ag.

I find it silly that you think we need big ag to feed us.

Fact is anyone can grow food without a chemical one.

That is 100% organic, no till garden. I can scale it up to as big as I want. With the mulch, no weeds.

I put my amendments, then cardboard, then mulch. Come fall I let the chickens scratch and poop in it.

Come spring redo it. Its a lot of work in the beginning but runs itself once its started. Next year I'm adding drip lines.

I use a rain catch.

Yes, if big ag failed there might be caos for a bit but it would settle down.

I raise chickens, beef and pork. I would share my heirloom seeds with neighbors and trade animals off. We would go back to a simpler life style.

It is silly to think we would go extinct without big ag.

Hell, with big ag playing with GMO and such might be what's kills us.

I saved some GMO and tried to grow the next year. They were all over the place with phenos and mutations.

What happens if big ag fails and we don't have a place to buy thier seed?

Don't get me wrong. I buy hybrid seeds to grow which is not GMO but you can't save them either. I also have thousands of heirloom seeds saved. I have enough food on hand to feed my family for well over a year.
