Dosing aerocloner w/ oxidizer (bleach) daily

Ok guys I've had issues in the past repeatedly with my aerocloners. I realized it's because I didn't keep my reservoir Sterile 24/7. I'd always initially dose my cloner but didn't realize daily dosing is what's needed to maintain 5ppm of free chlorine. I have the chlorine strips and noticed .2ml of bleach/ gal of water is required to maintain 5ppm of free chlorine. No matter what your source of chlorine 3-5 ppm is best keeping everything clean and sterile. Does anyone else daily dose their reservoir w/ some type of oxidizer?

hydrogen peroxide is what you want not bleach. For your purposes I would look at that 35% growtek stuff. I think distilled water would work best in an aero cloner. my .02

Bleach has worked for ever and its dirt cheap.

Have you tried 2.5ml per gallon on your plants?
When say gallon how many litres us that?

I use a few granules of pool shock even when cuts are present and flip my inserts regularly
Way cheaper and I have had issues with bleach foaming

I use pool shock in my res but I gave up on the aero cloners because I found it much easier to use a humidity dome and tray and just spray the leaves twice a day with some water and I get roots popping in 7days and 100% success rate. It always took me 14 days in a cloner not sure if I didn’t something wrong with it. A heat mat under the tray also speeds up the rooting time by a day or 2
