Hi. First time on this site, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but, I got a small amount of DPT (similar to DMT) as an Hcl salt. I would like to convert it to a freebase so I can smoke it. The salt form isn't active when smoked, just snorted, eaten or injected (I don't plan on ever doing the last one). I assume I can turn it into freebase by adding baking soda and maybe gently heating it. It's basically the same method used to create crack from cocaine. But I don't know the right proportions, or what temp I can cook it at, or better alternatives, etc.. Has anybody done this, or maybe tried it with DMT? I don't want to smoke lungfuls of baking soda if I can help it.
