Have you already harvested Dr. Gruber? If so how many days?

How fragrant are yours?
I am wondering if these are like some ecsd that don't start smelling strongly until very late.

I've started to cut one of them at 56 days and finished at 65 days, the other is ready to go today or tomorrow most likely. It's not as strong a smell as ECSD but it still has some stink to it and it came on more towards the end.
The one i'm going to cut today(?) smells like Sour Kush very strongly. The other one smelled like ECSD with a slight OG smell in the background.

I'm really curious to see how your run did vs my own. It's funny how you say its what you reach for--I'm doing the exact same thing :)

I picked up some Veganic Sour x Adoni at Buds and Roses and that sour makes your eyes water! I asked Aron what his favorite strain was and he said Sour Diesel. Now I know why his shop has the best!

Cheers,
Mo

Thanks!
We've had strange weather recently. Floods the other day had cars totally submerged just miles from where I live. Its going to cost a lot of people a lot of money.
It's been about 3-4 years since i had a cold or flu but when i get hit i get hit hard every time. Not sure of its the weather or from just being run down, which i have been lately.

Take some Zicam zinc. Makes you heal faster and helps prevent catching viruses. :)

Get well soon!

The buzz is strong but not over powering as long as you don't go overboard. When I used it in moderation i found it particularly helpful for creative work. Newbs should be careful with this as it does have a high THC content and could cause some problems for the unaware.

Final Comment-
After it first dried, I wasn't that impressed with it. Sure, it was definitely an Elite but i liked it's parents better (ECSD and OG Kush) then I did the cross. But, after it cured for a couple weeks, i kept finding myself reaching for this over most everything I have, including the GSC and other Elites. I still love me some ECSD and OG but it produced a nice hybrid of flavors that will have me growing this one again. Only one of the plants finished with a strong Sour Kush flavor and the other 2 leaned more towards the ECSD Fuel type flavor. I kept plant 3 (sour kush pheno) and will probably pop the rest of these in the future to see if I can find one that has an even stronger flavor. In the meantime, this one will do just fine.
A better then average yield with high potency and great taste make this a great addition to any garden.

Medical qualities:
Depression, Appetite. Pain relief.

Dry pictures to follow.

Lab Test--As you can see this one had the same mold as the GSC.

Amazing journal as usual. I felt the same way about the strain- At first I wasn't too impressed, but after a little cure I find myself reaching for it more and more.

I had both phenos you mentioned and I'm also keeping the 'sour' one around. I would still describe both of them as 'spicy earthy fuel', but the sour shines through in the better pheno.

This strain really shines when it comes to making concentrates. My friends and family think it produces some of the best shatter I've made to date, and I agree. While it's not my absolute favorite flower to smoke, the resulting concentrate really packs a 'spicy' tasting, head soaring high that in moderation is great for being creative/productive and in high doses becomes warmly sedating.

Quality and quantity. I'm going to keep this strain around.

I am growing out Dr's HB strictly to make BHO from. I will keep a little flower as well to try, but i spoke to the Dr and he said this plant produces the most trichs. So it will yield a little bit better the most. He said the GSC produces great trichs too but just not as much bud!
