Dr. Tomb's~2 Room-600w SCROG Automated Hempy Grow (THSeeds Bermese Kush and Darkstar)

Day 1


The start of my New grow. This round i will be growing 4 THseeds Bermese Kush and 4 THSeeds Darkstar. I have previously done a Automated Watering Hempy Grow, so this time I am looking into trying a SCROG and at honing my skills and having a nice successful green grow all through to chop.

Come join me with my journey and feel free to comment or offer suggestions if you would like. I currently have no pics of the rooms or the hempy setup yet, its all in storage. But ive got several days to get into any of that.

I will be starting all plants in a 4x4 tent with a 600w HPS. Then separating them into a separate 5x5 tent.


Dropped my seeds into some cups of water. Also pH adjusted some water to 5.5 and threw my rockwool cubes into them.


Will update in a few days once the seeds have popped. Wish me luck, lets hope for 8 of 8 popping.

Awesome looking forward to this i dropped a darkstar the tap root come out but then did nothing so oh well would of had to many strains to deal with anyway best of luck and im subbed for the show

Welcome to the ride DirtyNerd. Sorry to hear about your luck. I purchased the ThSeeds 20th Anniversary Seed pack, couldn't decide what to grow. Closed my eyes and these were the random two. I also have Skunkage, Ultra Sour, Mk Ultra, but those will be my next years out doors

It looks like all the seeds have split, and have been placed into rockwool cubes. I'll update with pics when they pop the surface

Day 5

Not much to report. All 8 seeds popped. I put up the 5x5 tent, and inside I'm running a t5 florecent for now. I've got my water pHed and sitting at room temp @ 5.9 (I like between 5.5-6) and I made small hempy style buckets out of food storage containers (usually I use solo cups, these are slightly larger) that I filled with perlite. Once the rockwool cubes have about 3 roots coming out I'll move them over to these containers and setup my auto drip system. After probably a week or so (size depending) I'll move them to there final larger hempy container (square trash cans) with automatic drip system. Once I hit about the 5th true node I plan to top just above the 2nd true node, giving me 4 main tops. Then I'll start the scog net and fill until I hit 2/3 full then flip.

Day 8

Seedlings are coming along. Bought some RO water and some CalMag. Think I'm going to use 1:4 ratio of RO and tap water. I'll supplement with the CalMag. Soon as I have more root development I'm going to use some Hollands Secret Propigator.

Day 23

Plants have finally reached the hempy water reserve and started really starting to grow. I will let them flurish in these smaller units until the root mass is larger. Once they are more a head, i will then transfer them to their final bucket. The final hempy pot they go into is basically a 5Gal Bucket.

I have also started the plants with the veg nutes. Started them off with a 1/2 the amount recogmented. This grow i will be using the following nutes.

Holland Secret 3-Part Nutes (Micro, Grow, Bloom)


Holland Secret Super B+ (last grow i only used this during the transplant and stressful times)

Holland Secret Prop-O-Gator (Will jut be using these during the first couple weeks after moving to the 5 Gal Pails)

General Hydroponics Cal Mag (local shop didn't have the Holland Secret version, and this grow im planning to use 1/4 tap water and 3/4 RO Water, with this Cal Mag supplement)

Little Update:
Transfered my girls to 5gal hempy buckets. This will be there final home. Also hooked up the hempy automated pump. This should make life so much easier. I also have taken one clone from the top of the plants. I waited until i had 5 nodes. Ill try to take some pictures in a few days.

Day 57

So the roots have all reached the reservoir now. The growth has started to take off. The problem is i have been waiting for almost 2 weeks for two new water pumps to come one (one to replace a broken one and the other as a spare).

Either way i have divided the 2 strains into there own tent. I've also added my SCROG screen and started training. I'm hoping for maybe a 2-3 week max turn around time before flipping to 12/12. What do you think?

Flower Day 1
Flipped the timer to 12/12 cycle. Begin the main event. Thats right folks. Pull up a seat and take a look.
Before we start just a couple updates. The Burmese Kush was flurishing very nicely. It outgrew its 4x4 space before the Darkstar outgrew there 5x5, so i ended up trading the plants spots. I really wanted to start the 12/12 cycle at the same time. So enough with that crap and onto the pictures.
