DR60 II Ventilation

I'm beginning to complete my shopping list for my first grow. I have a DR60 II tent 2x2x5 built and set up in my closet, will be using Kessil LED's for lighting and a 4" hurricane 171 CFM fan with a Phresh Filter 4" x 12" 200 CFM and fully insulated ducting. My question is, given that the temps in this tent are already extremely ideal due to central AC even in the summer, and the fact I'll be using LED (even less cooling requirements), do I still need to buy an intake fan in addition to the inline exhaust fan despite my tent having passive intake?

If ur not having to worry about heat extraction & are only concerned with ventilation & filtering then this fan will be totally fine. One thing tho, i'm guessing its the Secret Jardin DR60II u mean & also that ur dimensions are quoted in feet, as i remembered the dimensions being 60cm x 60cm x 180cm.(??) If this is still the one, then ur fan should be fine with that LED panel & all.

Tho 1 other little fan which is a good idea, is buy a cheapo £3 clip-on desk fan (or nice, little oscillating one which are usually about £10) and have it inside to create a little breeze for the plants & help with stem strengthening in veg. Ur extract fan will pull air up & thru the tent from the passive intakes at the bottom, so would be perfectly functional on its own, but it won't exactly whoosh the fresh air up & over all the plants as it does. A little mini-desk fan inside will direct more of a breeze of the incoming fresh air onto ur babies better.

And in ur tent size, there probably won't be room to have any inside desk fan sat next to the plants, so instead having it on the floor facing up to bounce its air stream off a wall will be fine enough to still circulate air over plants above. (being mindful of water & electricity tho!)

Thanks for the creative and helpful answers RedWhiteBlueGreen, I'm going to try that extra fan idea :)
