Dreams

I never even remember my dreams because I go to bed blazed every night. Does anyone else get that? When I stopped smoking for 10 months I started to have the craziest, most surreal dreams ever.

My most memorable dream (It's not anything awesome, but I still remember it for some reason even though it was like 6 years ago), as dumb as it sounds was this:

If you have ever played Mario on N64, remember when you wanted to fly or whatever you would jump like 3 times while running and liftoff? Well, that's what I could do. 3 Jumps and I could be airborne. Sadly my power wore off mid dream/midair. When I started flailing in my dream, it carried over into real life and that's how I woke up.

I don't even know why I dreamed this. I never played that game and only saw it a few times at my friends house at the time. :dunce:

I have gone to bed on say a monday night and dreamt of wakin up on tuesday and doing everythin i normally would in the morning and through out the day. i was in high school the first time so naturally i went to school did everythin the way things normally would happen, no crazy ass shit all. the most fucked up part about it is i actually wake up as i lay down in my dream. its fuckin insane lol because everythin about it was so real i mean i remember just about everythin that happened no different than i remember yesterday or last week or even a year ago. the first time that happened to me i freaked out and had to call my girlfriend and see wat day it was and wat we had done the day before. its almost like i get to live the same day twice. that has only happened twice tho and the last time that happened was about a year ago. i really hope it happens again tho cuz i would love to try and see if i could make everythin in the dream actually happen. i mean there was never anythin that couldnt have normally happened. idk just a thought.

yea man ive noticed that too. i was told in treatment that it happens because when you get high all the time you start missin your REM sleep or w/e and thats the stage were you dream in and im not 100% on this but i think they said somethin about how you have crazy ass dreams because your mind wants to get high or some shit like. im not positive about it because when they were tellin me all that i was goin thru withdrawls so i dont really remember what they said.

Well i had a nightmare once when i was really young. Me and Luke Skywalker were in the labyrinth looking for boba fett, once we found him though, he shot me and left. Im pretty sure i woke up after that. And another one i recently had i was walking up a mountain with a turtle, that was like 100 times bigger than a normal turtle, and it was speaking to me in Japanese.

I had a dream about 2 weeks ago, I was in a field talking to Odin (Norse god) who was floating about 10~15ft of the ground. and for some reason we were discussing astrology when he started to talk about how "the ring of Saturn be the same as the Oroboros" it was a funky dream I woke up shortly after but the message seamed significant

I had a dream recently when I was running from the cops and I hid under a car and they knew I was there so they just unloaded an ak47 into me lol that sucked.I just remember the burning and impact feeling of getting hit and after that it felt like I had water running out of everywhere in my body.It felt quite good once they ran out of bullets.

Has anyone had a dream when they were blind or it was just to dark to see anything?
It sucks It started out daytime in these woods then night time comes and I cant see a thing and eventually the cops come and start chucking flash grenades or something at me lol and I can only see for that split second then it goes pitch black again, its horrible thats a recurring nightmare I had.

I have had a lot of weird dreams over the years,
the most common I have is where I'm in Mexico in a dark abandoned town,
and I'm in a basketball court with only 1 light,

I look behind me and I see some big monster looking creature chasing me at full speed,
for some reason I can't run in the dream, I feel like I'm running in slow motion it's so retarted,

right before he catches up 2 me I look back and he's not there anymore,

then I wake up and open my eyes, I can't move in my bed, it feels like this force is holding me down I can't move anything but my eyes, I try yelling out loud to see If my sisters or dogs come and wake me up, but I can't make any sound,

it's really fucked up, It gives me a hopeless feeling,

It's weird cause when I wake up I can't move but I'm up!
I end up closing my eyes and telling myself "wake up man u can do it"
after a few minutes I can get up normally,

Anyone else have this type of dream?

Ive tried Lucid Dreaming before, I actually have a headset to wear at night when ur sleeping,
It makes a small beep sound every 15 seconds that is supposed to be a reminder to yourself that you are dreaming,

once u can train ur mind to realize that you are dreaming you CAN control your actions in your dreams,

I've wore the headset numerous times but still haven't had a succesfull lucid dream,
one of my best friends is fascinated by parallel universes, lucid dreaming, all that awsome stuff,

he has been trying lucid dreaming for 3 years and says he has 1 extremely succesfull lucid dream per month if he's lucky,

he claims that almost every dream he knows that he is dreaming, and he can think logically in his dreams,

but once he tries to do something he does something else completely random and surreal,

like he told me once that in his dream he was aware that he was dreaming,
he had an idea, he wanted to fly over Hollywood blvd with angel-like wings, so he went to open his closet expecting to see some wings, instead the closet was full with pokemon cards, he close the door and re-opened it and the closet was empty,
he says this is an indication of how hard it is to control ur dreams,

he says it's rare to actually have a lucid dream were u can control exactly wat ur doing...

sorry for the BIG paragraph but this is a topic I am very interested in,

I had a weird three part dream a few weeks back. It's kinda fucked up.

In the first part, I was watching a documentary about a man who molested his children with pieces of toast. Obviously, I didn't wanna see that shit, so I pulled away from that part of the dream, and I was in this 1920's speakeasy that had had an explosion that killed everyone in it. It was dark, but lights from the street were shining through the window and I could see cops pulling screaming people away...I tried to fumble around in the dark to get up, and everywhere I touched there were squishy things I couldn't see. So I pulled away again, and I saw a man getting ready to rape a woman. He had her tied down. But this is how he raped her...he duct taped a screw drive to her pelvis, flathead side up, and proceeded to sit on it and use it on himself like a dildo. WTF. Analyze that dream.:spew:
