Drilling holes in sides of pots

Man thats amazing. I'm going to use that exact same mix for my next grow.

Do you know if all worm castings are pretty much the same? Or do i need to watch out for certain ones?

and as far as air pruning goes.... i just pulled two root balls out of my pots, and where there are holes in the sides, the roots are only about 1/4 of an inch back in the soil, but seemed clustered around the holes back away from the light just barely into the soil,
it lookes to me like bunches of roots formed near the holes to breath... so if you look at it like that yes it could be air pruning...
I have read of similar results else where as well.

I transplanted my girl 3 days in flower to a five gallon pot all drilled up like yours.

Be a nice experiment. Thanks for taking the time to answer all my questions.

As others pointed out, it is not air pruning per se, but awesome resuls nonetheless:hump:
Thanks for taking the time to, even though others pointed it out, point out once again that he didn't say air pruning...

Even though I already stated I read that on a different thread and it was a mistake...

BTW many others who drill holes in their pots like this do indeed state that it is for the purpose of air pruning.

I just wanted to ask you guys if it might be ok if I go ahead and imply on my future posts on Rollitup.org that I am doing this to air prune, even though this thread one poster didn't mention it?

Actually one thing that i was curious about was how you managed to keep pretty much every leaf on the plant nice and green right up until harvest. Im not sure exactly what stage they were at in the pictures, but they looked pretty close.

My other 2 grows, i had pretty extreme yellowing across the whole plant leading up to harvest (except for the small leaves poking out of the buds).

Do you add extra nitrogen to your feed during flower or something?
Some strains keep green leaves all the way through budding like afghan kush. Some don't.
