Great info man. I actually just switched to rockwool blocks to give them a try, it might work much better with rockwool but I haven't tried it yet. I grown for years in hydroton but this is my first rw trial, so far so good though! Still have drip clean on stand by

How are you using RW? I use both with great results! ;)

I am starting my clones in an ez cloner just until really small roots form, then I put the clones into rockwool macro plugs to finish rooting. Then I transfer them to 4x4 rockwool blocks. From there after a few weeks of veg I'll transfer them flower, either by just flowering them in a 1 gallon mesh pot 1/2 way filled with hydroton with the 4x4 block on top (extra root space and more floods per day) or I'll be stacking them on a 6x6 hugo block

It's just hydrogen peroxide 29%. Stuff at the store Is 3%.
Oh, I know that, I've used all kinds of it, but drip clean isn't for sterilizing hydroponics, it's for dissolving salt build up in rw cubes, coco, drip lines for drip systems so the lines don't clog etc :p I'm just not sure how well it works on hydroton. I'm guessing not as well as the others though,

I've since stopped using a medium, kind of. I've just been growing how I used to grow before trying different things, suspended pots, so only the very bottom of the pots and roots touch the water, so no more issues with any build up now, but I was using 2 gallons of hydroton and it was giving me problems. But going back to suspended net pots and switching to rockwool I'll just avoid any more issues I was having

So clean! very nice. :Green: Heres a couple cheap shots of my girls. sorry about the phone pic im getting a better camera soon. I gotta get under and clean out the growth below the light line. I will wait two more weeks so the material removed will have enough resin to be worth adding to a hash run.

Does h2o2 dissolve fertilizer salts?
Well Now that you mention it.. I use a pint jar for water testing and such cause im old and bending over the res gets to be a lot for my back anymore. After a while a white residue builds up on the glass from the mineral deposits. When i add my monthly h20 it dose react (Fiz and bubble) to the residue built up on the glass. I had never thought much about it till now. Things that make you go hmmm

Yessir, when you enter the og world and start growing the stuff that's a hot commodity, the plants tend to be stretchy bastards and low yielded lol. I haven't grown a indica in probably 6 years. The good thing is when you get the ogs dialed in, they'll give ya two lbs a light just like an indica. I'm hoping for 36oz on the run in the pic from 2k watts

And if you think those are stretchy, check out the black lime reserve in the back left corner lol. Fucking thing is ridiculous, that's after super cropping it down. And had to super crop it down again today, like only 14 days in flowered at 14", will probably be 3' when it's done lol

Thanks bro, I did top them a handful of times in veg, and super cropped them In veg as well, I think they had about 8+ dominant tops each before I flowered them, they are a pretty lanky plant and definitely have to be topped to get any yield from them, it turned out good I think, it's only 5 weeks into flower and my second time growing the strain but it's an og so Ive grown other og plants before so had an idea on how to train them. This strain seems to yield a hell of a lot better than others though, it's the ghostrider og v2. I'm pleased with the bud size so far, definitely a keeper!

Here's a day before I put them into flower to give ya an idea of the size, it's a 2x4 tray with 18 plants in it (I know, I pack em in there lol)

Here's a black lime reserve about 9 days into veg from clone, lmao, already had to crop her down! It makes me laugh every time I see her, it just wants to grow up without growing nodes but I hear she's good (fucking better be good because it's a pain to deal with :p)

Haha I've seen others use those fluro high Bay light grid covers for a way to raise the plants up before. I almost did it. But I built my own ebbn flo with a cement mixing tub, some pvc, and the fill and drain pieces. I got it so it ALL DRAINS.
And also, I was talking about @brokencage pics for stretching. Yours in the screen don't look to bad.

Totally, the grid covers work awesome, my buddy just gave me the tip a couple weeks back, I never would have thought about using them. Dude, the cement tubs are butter, I was using them up until about a year ago and the only reason I switched to trays was because my lights are 2x4 so it just fits alot better under the lights. I can get these trays to drain most of the way, but I have to tilt it at one end and then the back side doesn't flood as high as the front, so it didn't work as good for hydroton grows as the cement tubs did because of the back flood hight needed to be higher which caused the front to be too high. I actually made a tutorial on how to build the cement tub trays a while back on here, alot of people seemed to love it, they're sturdy as hell and a hell of a lot cheaper than these damn trays. And I know you were talking about the stretch of the other guys girls, but shit man, I'm in the same boat lol, especially with this black lime, it's growing double the height in veg as my tallest stretching plant, it's a bitch to keep it at the same height as the others lol
