Drip feed / flood n drain help

Hey guys

I have a drip feed system with the main stem in clay balls, I have my pump running 24/7 with air pump and heater in my res so its good nuts and water are being pumped.
They live in net pots 30cm but 15 deep and the roots have grown right through and hang in the drain pot mainly suspended in air. Now I have great white roots and a real root mass even a ball you could say.

So my question is am I sort of getting a flood drain effect as my roots are getting lots of oxygen not being in water or medium.

Or would I be better off doing a flood n drain? As then the roots would be submerged then left in the air?

you will have a successful grow with the drip system, but with my previous experiences with just a hydrofarm drip bucket is that its a little bit slower compared to a flood and drain, dwc, aeroponics...

I don't quite understand your system, but if your roots are healthy and white, then you must be doing something right. In most drip systems, the roots grow down and fill the res. One word of caution, your res temps should be in the '60's F. Any warmer than 75 and bad stuff will grow.

there is a lot of room from the bottom of the netpot to the bottom of the drain pot so it should not get into the res.

i have my res temp around 24 deg cel whic is 75 F

thanx dude
