Swim has a 5gallon drip system from general hydro. When u germinate a seed when u have a drip systemm ; should u grow it 1st in soil until the roots get long enough? Or put the seed in rockwool and go from there? And if I go the rockwool way since the roots don't reach the water I can just water it myself in the mean time correct?

Sounds like I may have the same setup. Personally I propogated my seedlings in a grow house using Grodon Grow cubes with a heating pad and high output T5 6500k bulbs until they are about 2" minimum tall then carefully in a dark area transfer them to the drip system. Hope this helps, good luck bud!
