So I'm looking to do a little experiment where I supplement my COBs with a string of a few different colors of monos. The ones I'm interested in all seem to run at the same current of 700ma which makes things easy. The different monos have slightly varying foreword voltages @700ma ranging from 2.3 to about 3.
If I want to make, say a single string of 80 monos, or two strings of 40 with some headroom for expandability so that I can add more later without having to purchase an additional driver, what would be a good driver choice?
I had my eye on the Meanwell HLG-240H-C700A which would give me 250w to play with.
Thoughts?
