drooping leaves at night??? (PICS)

we accidently overfertilized our plant and overwatered it a week ago and it suffered from bad nute burn. all of the leaves were really droopy but since this weekend, the leaves are beginning to stand up again after a week.

they developed the claw on the tips of the leaves. also, the leaves only seem to stand up in the morning and the afternoon but at night, all of the leaves are drooping again. more and more leaves are standing up everyday but they always droop at night.

we haven't fertilized in 10 days.
ph of water is about 7.0.

what's wrong with them? we haven't flushed yet. should we wait it out?

the picture shows the leaves in the morning and the claw at the tips possibly from overfertilized.

are the lights off at night? did u flush them when u overfertilized them, how old are the plants?

yea, the lights are off at night, it's on 18/6. they are about 3.5 weeks into growing. we didn't flush when we overfertilized because we overwatered them really bad as well (we messed up and watered/fertilized 3 times in 5 days).

will the curling of the tips get better? or is it going to stay like that?

well the drooping at night is fine, mine do it when the lights are off as well as other peoples.

if the leaves don't get better id flush it

i don't know about the curling of the leaves getting better as ive never had that problem yet.

what soil are you using? and did it have "the claw" before u over fert. them?

the soil is kinda bad, it's hyponex potting soil we got from target. they didn't have their curling tips before we used the fertilizer. they began to develop the claw this past week. i think we should have flushed when we first saw fert burn.

well i did a lil search about "the claw" and found this...


"If you give your plants ammonium based nutrients they may show NH4+ toxicity, which will show a smaller plant growth and lesions that occur on stems and roots, leaf margins that will roll downward. Also the big fan leaves will have “the claw” look. The tips will point down but the leaves will stay up as if when you bend your fingers downwards. Leaves can be twisted when growing… mainly new growths. Roots will be under developed along with the slowing of flowering. Yields will be decreased, because to much nitrogen in early stages of flowering slows down bud growth. Water uptake is slowing down from the vascular breakdown of the plants as well. Too much potassium and nitrogen will lock out calcium as well."

it could be. we are gonna water next with the right pH
