Anyone know?

I have a 400W MH about 2.8FT away. Room temps stay around 68-82 degrees. They're a few weeks old. They're different ages. I'm growing hydroponically, the roots are well oxygenated with the water and the PPM is around 150-200. pH is around 5.6-6. Slight wind breeze on them too.

I noticed everytime the lights/fans went off, they lifted up. Will they grow faster if I lift the lights? They kinda look like they're starting to just bush out, but they're so young and short. Should I raise the light a little? My smallest plant has 7 leaves on it, but it's shorter than a lego man.

Again, 18/6 400W Metal Halide hanging probably 2.7-9 feet away from the plant's top.

Or maybe it's cuz they're recieving a little too much wind and it's holding em back from growing upwards? NL x Big Bud

I keep my lights 18 to 24'' away from my plants light defusses to much any further than that it may cause your plants to stretch and stems to be weak , droopy leaves can be a sign of over watering or under watering .

dont lift the lights. they look great. you want them to be small and bushy. close nodal spacing means less total height when flowering. as cannabis is known to stretch up to 3 times its initial size when going from veg to flower.
