Yep I'm not looking to make cannabutter out of trim anymore because I can't stand the taste that comes with it. I'm sold on just melting the BHO and or hash into the butter/oil to make my baked goods. Granted there still my be a slight foul taste but nothing compared to simmering your trim in butter for a cpl of hours.

Okay folks I'm at day 49 and as usual I have some deficiencies late in late flower. Some might say this is normal but I'm striving to keep em green throughout the whole grow. I know this can be done because I've seen it many times from other growers. Now I will say that these do look better than my last grow at week 7.

I've also made few changes to my growing methods as well.

(1) I flushed at the end of veg and at the end of week 5

(2) I finally got a hold of some fast acting lime and added 1 TBS per one gallon pot last week. It's a little too early to tell but I believe it's helping to maintain proper pH levels in the soil. I'll know more when I check the runoff next week.

(3) Changed up my feeding schedule. I use to feed every watering per the instructions on the bottle. Now I feed water feed or sometimes I feed feed water. It all depends on what my plants are telling me at the time. I'm starting to think not all the nutrients are being used up by the plant before the pot dries out. So giving just plain water in between feedings is helping to use it up. I believe it's also reducing the salt build up that I feel is causing some deficiencies towards the end of flower.

This is the first time I've tried to grow nine plants out a time and I'm not so sure I'll be doing it again. The buds aren't nearly as big this time around. My last grow I ended up with 11 ounces of bud from two plants in 2.4 gallon superoot air pots and from the looks of things I don't think I'm gonna get near that this time around with nine plants in these one gallon pots. Hmmm maybe looks are deceiving but only time will tell.

I'm no pro and I don't claim to be so as usual comments, suggestions and criticisms are always welcome here and anything is up for debate. So if you got something on your mind please feel free to speak up.

LOVE the 2nd to last pic.... soo fuckin sexy. tey look so healthy and happy!! ughhh.... it makes me so sad... lookin at my plants.... cuz theyre all ugly as shit due to my mite infestation.... my plants used to look beautiful.... but not anymore... =/ =( anywayzzz.. lol. amazing pics/plants as always man.

wat kinda light u got them under?? i was just about to ask u how many plants as well... but can see u said 9.... i agreen with ya tho... they say a SOG method works best for yielding... more smaller plants rather than fewer big plants.....but i used to get 3 - 3 1/2 ounces dry off a plant wen i would grow 2-3 plants at a time (and using CFL's) now im using the 400 watt HPS and flowering 5-7 plants at a time... and am gettin SHIT for yields... an ounce or under per plant.. fuckin sucksssss... oo well. keep up the great work man.

Thanks bro they do look nice but not as nice as I would like them to. I'm learning though and my plants are looking better grow by grow. Also my ladies are sitting under a 600 watt HPS. I'll have to see the final numbers at the end but I think next time I'll just grow a cpl out in the 2.4 gallon pots. Or I may just break out the DWC and go back to hydro for a while and try to grow out 1 monster.

good job bro im also growing northern lights 5 how long do you usually flower for that couchlock feeling i hear between 8 1/2 and 10 weeks just based on reviews and journal readinsg.

That sounds about right. I got two different pheno's going. One goes between 9 to 10 weeks and the other goes 11. Where did you get your seeds?

lol What's up Amber? I forgot all about doing a report. Well I didn't make the cookies until last night because I'm such a procrastinator at times. I made oatmeal with one stick of butter and 1 gram of BHO. So here's how it went down.

8 PM ate one and didn't feel much. 9 PM ate another and smoked a bowl and I'm feeling pretty good now. 10 PM, Still feeling good but ate another. 11 PM Got the full body buzz going on now with a kind of mind numbing sensation. It's hard to compare Eating vs smoking because it's a totally different state of mind. Oh and did I mention I'm a dumb ass and ate another? Okay so now it's 3 hrs later and I just ate 4 of these cookies and I"m feeling real good but I'm tired and can't keep my eyes open so I decide to call it a night and go to bed around midnight.

Now that I'm laying in bed it's really starting to hit me and hit me good. Now I can't sleep and with my eyes closed I'm seeing all kinds of weird visuals dancing in my head. I don't know how long I laid there until I finally fell out but it seemed like and eternity.

So now it's about 7 AM and I got my Mastiff nudging me with his wet nose telling me that he wants to go outside and I soon realize that I'm still stoned out of my mind and my mouth is as dry as the desert. I know I need to get up to let my dog out but I don't want to move. 15 minutes goes by and I drag my ass out of bed just long enough to let the dogs out, smoke a cig, drink about 3 glasses of water, let the dogs back in and went right back to bed until 10 Am. I woke up still feeling high until around noon.

So now it's noon and I finally got all the cobwebs out of my head and I decide to eat another cookie. A cpl of hours go by and I"m feeling real good but tired and fell out in my chair for a few more hrs and didn't wake up till around six but still feeling the effects.

So now it's going on 8 pm and I'm still feeling a little groggy and I doubt I'll be eating any more cookies today. So the verdict is in and I guess you could say that those cookies kicked my ass. Just one cookie and I'm baked for at least 6- 8 hrs but it takes at least 2 hrs to kick in.

DROPA dropa dropa, those cookies look so delicious. I really thought your cookie report was amamamamamziing. Nice descriptive details, i felt like i was going through time with you. But you did not give us the pleasure of hearing one of you dreams during you enlightend unconciousness. During you sleep what happened and where did you go? You must recall something fasinating.
I have been eating keif butter this past week. It has been interesting. The most pleasurable thing about it is that it knocks me out into a sleepy unconciousness. When i awaken from it i have a clarity in my head that is really refreshing and wonderful. Its almost like i really wasnt asleep but somewhere else in my mind that i dont go to very often. Isnt that wild?

Sorry Amber in all honesty I can't remember much about what I was dreaming about. All I know it was some trippy shit. You no how when you wake up from a dream and you can remember some of of what you dreamed about, then a few hours later you can't remember shit. Well anyways that's how it turned out for me.

One thing I can remember though is that I was frolicking around in the woods with this real cool chick and it just so happens that her name was Amber. Towards the end of the dream we were sitting on a blanket having a glass of wine, smoking bowl and admiring the great scenery. Then just when I was about to make my move and go for second base my dog woke me with his wet nose and the moment was lost forever.

LOL J/K Amber. Hmmm or am I? Either way it sounded good to me.:-P

It takes anywhere from 75 min to 2 hours to kick in for me too. Awesome adventure! I so LOVE edibles! Usually with a bowl topper, hehe.

Hey Amber. I only got two cookies left so I'm gonna have to make more for sure. I'm planning on harvesting this Friday but unfortunately I won't be able to take any pics. The new camera I bought a few months ago took a crap. Luckily it had a one year warranty so I had to send it back to the manufacturer for replacement. Also I gave my old camera to my nephew because I'm just cool like that. So that means I'm left here with nothing, nada, zip. The replacement will be here sometime next week so I should be able to post some pics then. So sorry to disappoint but you know shit happens and it happens to me all the time.
