dropped my seed into a bucket of perlite

exactly like the title said I was putting my seed in a cup of soil and it fell into my bucket of perlite for hempy buckets. I have sifted through it for about an hour and can't find it. Do you think it would sprout or am I SOL.

Im not sure about this, but i think perlite floats, dump you bucket of perlite into a clear tub and fill with lots water, Look thru the tub and maybe your seed will be laying on the bottom?

thanks good idea hopefully 16 quarts of perlite will float

it worked thanks a lot. I made a huge mess and got perlite all over but, i found it!

ha me 2, my buddy gave me some free seeds. It's california hash plant. Ya I hope it will be too.
