Dry Racks vs. Hanging

So I have come to the realization that hanging my buds in my tent when harvesting isn't what i want since not all plants are done at the same time and I have to halt all growing. I have been looking at those mesh racks that you hang. I was curious to know if anyone has had experience with these. Do they work as good as hanging because if so it would alleviate some concerns as well as space issues.

any response is greatly appreciated.

The mesh racks work very well, for me anyways it isnt about whether they are hung or in a rack but instead the environment they are drying in(i.e. temp, humidity, airflow etc etc). One thing about the racks is if multiple layers of bud is stacked in them its good to turn them every day or two to insure a consistent dry, when you hang you really dont have to worry about that.I do it both ways depending on space limitations then jar and cure(age)to perfection.

did hanging for a couple years, Now been using the rack for bout 2 years. The rack does save TONS of time and it doesn't cause the nugs to go flat on one side which i was worried about. I say do it IMO ;)

Just to add one more thing, there is a post on RIU somewhere that shows a wooden rack that a guy built that is pretty ingenious also, dont ask me why but id rather put my bud in wood than polypropelene/nylon to dry but then again i like to grow organically as possible too,im gonna build me one of those wood racks with drawers someday.the nice thing about the mesh racks is they fold up very compactly til you need them again though.

Why would you cure on either one lol. This is for drying purposes only ;) You need a glass jar to cure i think you got the 2 mixed up hehe. Hmm seems like a lot of work for something you can just pick up for 25-40$ :/

Thanks for all of the reply's guys! I think I am going to go out and get one. Now If i were to hang it in my tent while i have the light on with other plants going do you think i can just put a burlap bag over top of it to keep the light out?
