Dry tyme tips??????

tell me some tips on how to dry your shit, one of the main ??'s is does it have to be 100%dark in the dry area no light leaks?

no. does not have to be light proof but remember-light does degrade THC(direct light for extended periods). i use a large cardboard box with string run across in like 15 rows. hang cut branches on string-shut box and check daily. Works great.

cardboard box 70 degree's 30-40% rh hang 3-7 days. when small stems snap jar and burp until dry.

hey is there a difference flushing w/tap water????

Hang your buds in a cool dark place, until the outside of the buds are crisp, check them every day. Make sure you only hang them long enough for the outside to dry, The stem should still have moister so you can bend it without it snapping in half.

Once you did that put your buds in a pickle jar, for about 2 or 3 days, burp the jar every 12 hours. Keep the buds in the jar until the outside of the buds are moist again.

Why do you think that your stuff need's to be dried in a room that is 100 % light proof,It make's no differance to the end result if dried in a room that has light or not.Has long has the cannabis is hung rather than layed,this may sound stupid but the differance in cannabis dried that has been hung just look's far better.And you will find that when hung more crystals are kept on the buds if layed crystals seem to fall off during drying.Leave the small leaves around the bud's the one's that are full of crystals,these will form a casement around the bud and because they are full of thc they smoke fine.Has long has there is a fan on the bud's while drying they will be ok i also like to have a exaust fan on to take any moisture out of the room.If you have the room it is worth makeing a seperate drying room it does not have to be big,the reason that i like a seperate drying room is i like to have my next set ready to go before setting the last lot to dry.Leave the buds on the stem's and once they snap the bud will be dry,normaly done in 7/10 day's.....................tyke..................

No it doesnt have to be light proof but i wouldnt advise letting your buds dry out in the sunlinght either. I light to hang mine for 5-10 days in a cool dark area. Seems the best when its mainly dark, around 65 deg F and the humidity doesnt get any higher than 50%. Buying or building a drying wrack is def. a good investement
