I does indeed increase the potency, through a chemical process in the trichomes after the plant is cut. Also flavors and smells get much better. Haze2

i read somewhere that it doesn't increase potency it changes the chemicals so it affects the high but it is the resin degrading that alters the effect.

what you said was right besides that its actually a non useful cannaboids that degrades into thc, which really does make it more potent since the useless chemicals degrading add to the thc level . You just got a very minor detail wrong. no big deal.

Not really, It will increase potencey up to a certain point. Curing it for longer periods will make the bud smell better and the smoke smoother, but its best to cure for at least 2-3 weeks. Some people dont even cure it as they like the taste of fresh bud.

what kind of high do you want? for more of a heady buzz harvest when most are cloudy, for a strong couchlock buzz wait till most are amber, for a mix harvest when its at 50/50 or experiment a little and cut some buds at different points and mark how they were when you harvested the bud and in the future harvest that strain when its at the level you found you enjoy the most. like was said above, curing does increase potency, but only to a certain level, when all the cannaboids have been converted its at its peak and cant really get any higher.

As a ball park figure, how much more potent do you find a decent cure can improve the bud? 10 % 25 %?
I'm trying different methods now and am hating the degree of trial and error.

Dont know exactly a percent but it is a significant amount something you and possible customers would notice.
