Thinking about doing this. What do you guys think? info can be found in ''Marijuana Horticulture The indoor/outdoor Medical Growers Bible'' by Jorge Cervantes, in Chapter 5, on pg.92

"Freeze Drying,

Dry ice is Carbon dioxide. When it warms Co2 converts for a frozen solid to a gas, without turning into a liquid. When moist marijuana is enclosed with dry ice at virtually zerorelative humidity, watermolecles migrate from cannabis to the dry ice. This causes the relative humidity of co2 to increase and the moisture content of the marijuana to decrease. This process occurs below 32 Fand it perserves the cannabis.

Place equal amounts of dry ice and bud intto a container, POut the dry ice on the bottom and the bud on top. Seal with a lid. Make a few small holes in the lid for gas excess gasto exit. Placein your freezer. Check every 12-24 hours. When the ice is gone the bud should be dry. If not dry, add more dry ice untill cannabis is completely dry. Conserve dry ice by air drying buds for a day or two before enclosing with dry ice.

This method retains potency and freshness and cause very little degradation of resin glands from heat, light, air, and fondling hands. the smoke has a mint-like taste because the chlorophyll does not break down''

This sounds really interesting. If I can find out how to get my hands on a little dry ice I will definitely try it with a bud or two. I don't think I completely understand the instructions though. Do you place the bud physically on top of the dry ice?
