So how long does it take you guys before you hear a snap ???? And what temp and humidity ??? To get it there. I got mine at about 65-70 and 50 humidity going on 10th day no snap ! Sheesh patiently waiting.!

Are you talking snap of the main stem? At your readings the smaller buds should be ready to snap when you break it off the stem it's on. You're going to feel it more than hear anything. Start with the buds highest when hanging and drying. They should dry first.

They were off the main stem since day once they are hanging solely on their own stem.

I never use the snap method.........I have never had to dry longer than 5 days, and I maintain the same temp and humidity.

60-65 degrees and 60 rh and generally have at min a 14 day dry.

Generally you want them to take longer then a week to dry. The slower the dry the better.

Not really I generally look at the overall feel of the bud I’ll go through and bend a few branches here and there walking through my drying rooms to double check. Depending on the bud size it may take longer then 14 days but that’s generally big ass buds that go longer then 14 days.

Just be patient. Learn the feel of the bud. Use this as a learning opportunity and pull one bud of decent size feel it squeeze it the. Break it apart. Get a feel for the bud. Is it still too wet in the center. When ground up does it have that it looks alive walk to it. We can tell you what and how we do it but everyone has different methods and equipment. Learn what works for you And the space you have With equipment you have. That makes a drastic difference. Ultimate control over the space gives better results. for instance in one drying room I have 2 36k mini splits and a quest 506. The other has 1 36k mini and a quest 225 to control the drying. At home I run a quest 155 and a quest 70 along with a 24k mini split with 2 9 k heads and one 12 k head for the rest with my garage/ converted grow and momma room being supplied with a duct from the 5 ton heating and cooling my home junk.

I agree with @Lordhooha its not an exact amount of temp/RH etc everyone’s areas are different unless climate control is being used.
Personally I’m around 60-65F in my area and my dehumidifier is set to 60%.
it takes branches like this around 10-14 days to dry ready for manicure and then boxing.
this hanging area though is almost perfect and I’ve had buds hanging in here for months without getting to dry (when I’m feeling lazy lol)

I have a fairly small plant and a fairly medium sized on drying in a 2x2. Will probably take 7 to 10 days. Temp about 69° RH about 50-ish. I cut my plants down into V shaped branches, and some will be a single stalk that I'll hang with a chip-clip (in the center). By removing the thickest main stem from the drying process, it speeds things up just a lil bit.

They feel dry to the touch but at they are still bending from what I know that means it’s not ready just wondering how long it’s taking the average person to get stem to snap
