Drying question - "Light destroys THC?"

Just cut down my outdoor swiss cheese and hanged the branches for a week in loft. They werent dry when I took em down but my loft hardly gets air circulation so I thought I can dry them in a different way.

So I trimmed all buds off and put in plastic food container. Buds arent dry yet, so I just take em out and leave them on table for whole day to dry and put them back in container at night.

When they are drying at day they are exposed to light, not direct and not that much since its autumn. Ive read everywhere that light destroys thc but are they refering to direct sunlight i.e drying in the sun, or just general light?

And is my drying method good enough to dry the weed?

thc degrades in the presence of light, heat , and oxygen. imo it's best to dry in a cool, dark, well ventilated area. yer loft will probly do fine with an oscillating fan in there movin some air around. might not want to seal nugs up in the tupperware for to long before they are dry. just leave the container open until the nugs feel dry, then seal up and check on them in a few hours, moisture may have returned and nugs feel wet again- leave open til dry, then seal again, then check again, and repeat this until thouroughly dry. peace

most things degrade with light over time. Storage is more important than drying for light exposure, as drying is short time and storing is a lot longer.
