drying trim before hash making?

Hey all i searched alot of places and none of them told me whter its btter to dry the trim off...i mean i do not have alot at all its from only 1 plant and i want to use whatever crystals i can off it...is it better to dry the trimmings then freeze or any other way?thanks all help appreciated on personal experience +reps

it depends on the method you will use to extract the trichomes...:razz:

A silk screen requires you to dry it...

Gumby's method does not...

And so on...

Find out what method you will be using and THAT will tell you...:razz:

But freezing is always a good way to preserve the trim... even if you are going to dry it later...:eyesmoke:

i think iam going to use ice water methdo right now then

for small amounts of trim getting all the stuff for water extraction seems like a waste to me.
i'd just get a 70-120 micron screen and make sift with it. Like I'm doing now.

You'll need to dry your shake to the bone and freeze it overnight.
When you open the freezer you should be able to break your shake enoungh just by squeezing it in the bag

Its also pretty cheap and easy to do. you can check my journal, my record of doing it is in the last page.

as soon as you trim put that in the frezer so you can keep saveing it up til you can run a decent batch
