Dutch Master Reverse

I was wondering how late into flower I would be able to use the reverse? I am just finishing up my 4th week of flower and I noticed a few of my plants had the male banana sticking off a bud or 2 per plant. Im reading that people are having good luck using it I just cant seem to figure out how late is 2 late? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm curious myself...I think I'm dealing with a few plants starting to be transgender. I hope this is the way to go.
