Hi,

My plants just went into flowering and i picked up some dutch master gold A&b flower.

My question is do i need anything else to go with it, right now all i got is A&B flower and cal-mag in fox farm soil.
Do i need bloom nuts at all like DM potash+ or any other brand or is DM a&b flower all i need?

thanks bongsmilie

I used the full DM line for ~ 2years while I continued to learn about nutes.

IMHO any multi-part formulas are overkill

To answer your question- not necessarily, just use ~ 20% more B than A

I always got good results with DM, but condensed it down to Grow A & B for both, just increasing ppms. What bothered me though is paying the high cost to ship what is essentially water. I came across a thread on another grow site that was all about Hydroponic-Research VEG+BLOOM- a one part DRY formula, so I did a side-by-side. It kicked DMs ass

I have been told that Dutch Masters leaves a weird taste to the buds, I have never used it but that it what I have been told. I use a single step for veg and one for bloom it is just easier that way, Botanicare. Potash will make a big difference in bud size especially when followed up with a good bud swell. I like Cyco Potash and Swell.

This is my first grow so i don't no much about nutrient brands and whats good or bad. so far in veg DM has been great but now you got me thinking about this weird taste to the buds with DM...

was thinking if DM does not work out i might go botanicar, earth juice or fox farms

Tried the DM Gold line recently. Gold A&B Flower, ADD.27 Flower, and Gold Range Zone. The yield was outstanding at 2# per 1k but the taste was not so great. Even after an 8 day flush in a flood/drain setup the buds were not pleasant to burn. Black ash and chemical taste.
