Notice: I did this review in 2010 on another site but I'm moving it here because they discriminate against posting reviews of certain seed companies. I don't go there anymore, needless to say! Some edits have been made to help gauge the strain against my newer reports. Edits are in Green!
Hi Gang!
It's time for another medical marijuana report from closed4fishing.
Breeder: Dutch Passion
Strain: Ultra Skunk
Grower: closed4fishing
Grow Info:
400W DWC, Co2, Advanced Nutrients Connosieur, Big Bud, Overdrive and Carboload. 3 Weeks veg, 8-9 weeks flower. Dried 6 days and into jars for curing. Dry weight around 2.5oz
Cure at time of smoke test:
3 days (I'll post another next month if it's a big difference). Ultimately cured for 60-75 days
Bag Appeal: A
Smell:
Amazing smell, kind of lemon lime but with something else real powerful in there. I've smelt it a lot back in the 90s but haven't found anything like it in a while. I associate that smell with some of the best skunks I've ever had. Still holds accurate to this day!
Taste:
A lot like the smell except with that sweet skunk mix. Very tasty to be sure even after only a 3 day cure! One puff will overpower your house with a thick incense like smell of lemon/lime skunk. At 30 days the taste was awesome. Very sweet and skunky in the American skunk way that I'm used to. I've run other EU skunks and didn't like them but this was close to American skunks that I remember. At 60 days it was still great, but I wish I could have tried it grown in soil instead of hydro!
Effect: Hybrid effect, pretty even body/mind stone. I like it a lot! It was a medium/high potent strain. Very nice high.

Final Thoughts: This is what I've been looking for. It took 6 grows to find something this nice and I'm going to reveg this plant and keep it as a mother for clones for as long as I possibly can. This is good all around weed. If you sit inside and smoke too much, you'll get lazy, if you are outside however, you will be energized. Gotta love it! I tried to reveg it and it died. It was in hydro and I tried to move it to soil lol. I've done it before but that plant no likey!!
It was good, and someday I'll probably try to run it again but there are so many strains out there that I have to keep trying new things
