DWC, Bubbles Test for BIG ROOTS

Alright been reading that more bubbles you can get to the roots, the better harvest you will have.

Has any one ever did a test on more bubbles ?

Let me try to explain....

take 4 plants all in there own 5 gallon DWC's. One plant has one air stone, while the second plant has two air stones, then third plant gets three and the fourth, four ya get it.

all in the same conditions, all the same strain bla bla everything the same besides the air bubbles

Just was curious if anyone has done this before, i am thinking of doing it in a few future grows

any one try something like this ??

hmmm i have no clue but im intrested to see results i will be checkin back.
I haven't done side by side, but I have observed: more bubbles == faster root growth == faster leaf and bud growth.

im trying it now
i have 2 5 gallon dwc and they are connected with a 1/2 in hose at the bottom so they are shareing the exact same nutes. one has one airston and the other has 2. i am also experimented with several different airstones. so far the round or circular plastic ones are the best. the long ones that look like a power cord sucked bad.
i also have a seperate 5 gallon dwc and i added a small (60 gph) watter pump that recirculates watter throught the top of the 6 inch net pot.
then i also have a 4 4inch net pot bubble ponics tub. It has a 260 gph watter pump going to all 4 plants. it has 3 airstones.
i will let you know what the results are.
so far the seperate dwc with it own 60 gph pump is way ahead. however, i think the recirculating watter only helps the roots reach the water faster once the roots are in the water i dont think the water pump will help much. I used the small water pump so it would not heat the the water in the bucket. i also had to replace my clear tubing with black tubing. the light was reaching the nutes through the clear tubes and allowing algae and root rot to develope. The water pump goes for about 11 dollars. and in this case smaller is better. i just cut holes in the top of the buckets for the air tubes and the water pump cord. I put rubber gromits in the lids so it is air and water tight. i am growing them under a 400 w mh for vegg and i will use a 600w hps for flower. i am also going to play around with some clonning techniques.
i had a little root rot in this bucket but i cleared it up with a little hydrogen peroxide from wallgreens. now it is growing fast again.
next grow im going to do the same thing but try using drip irrigation instead of the water pumps

clonning:
i am going to top one of the plants using uncle bens topping. i will top the plant after the second true node. I will do this once the 5th node developes. i plan to clone the entire top i cut off. I will continue to veg the originall plant untill the clone is ready (about 2 weeeks) then i will pot it and flower them together.
i have no idea if this will work. i have never cloned before let me know if you got any tips.

Try without bubbles as well for some kind of control. But very interested in the results (i use waterfarms)

I changed from a 12" to a 6" and noticed an improvement, so higher pressure/finer bubbles = better?

God I hope so, I just forked out the cash for 6 of those expensive micropore H stones and 3 high volume pumps. I'll be running them in 5 gal buckets.

I'm scribed in hopes that some more experienced farmers know the answer. S

i dont believe any one knows yet!!

But if you are doing a run with different bubbles take some notes and you will be one of the first to have it all writen down and if your nice enough to share, i know i would be great full to see the outcome.

I plan on doing a grow like this just right now i need to get some meds saved up before i can play.

Ok so far this is the only thread i cam across that the guy went through a few different air stone companys and figuring out how many he thought was a good number, he really seems to know his stuff

His Grow Giant Bubblers

He goes with Sweetwater Air stones 2"x1" plants are in 20 Gallon Containers These buckets get 20 Litres per minute of air each via 4 sweetwater 1x2 inch airstones, pump is an Alita

Hope this helps some of you.
