YOu dont have to rinse of the roots. Just start flushing.. If you use a cleaning agent for instance " FloraKleen" by GH then that will help with getting your roots white.. My roots never got clear white as they were in veg so dont worry about that just take care of the buds and check the trichomes thats the best way to tell if they are ready for harvest.

Just start adding PH adjusted water(n any finishing products you want to use) about 2weeks before you KNOW you're goin to be harvesting. Wouldnt worry bout rinseing the roots or tryin makin em nice n clean with peroxide(horrible shit anyways, DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO), alot of people will try tellin you alot of things man. I say just keep it simple, it's not rocket science, n you'll be blazin away your bushy bitches in no time, they're looking good! =D

How long to flush is up to you. I personally find 7 days is plenty, 3-4 with a rinsing agent. You don't have to rinse off the roots, but you might want to change the water again a few days later. Slightly browning roots are a sign that a plant is nearing the end of it's life cycle, so they will never get as white as they once were, stain or no stain.

I cut and vase my plants in RO water for the last 24 hours and remove them right when the hps comes on. I find this works better and is more efficient than flushing them with the roots. When trying new things always do a test first to ensure proper results. It is very important that the plants don't go dry during this part of the curing proccess.

They say let them sit in darkness the last 36 hours this will cause the plant to put all remaining energy into resin and thc production? I agree with Heisenberg, I like 7 days for flush and only 3 with rinsing agent. I drop PPM down to 250 for a few days then do tap with rinsing agent for another 2 days then go straight R/O for the last 3

I did do an experiment with my first AK48 and did leave it in 36 hour darkness, did not do it on my last AK48 and trichs looked better at harvest with the first one. I did have issues with the second so maybe not a great comparison but I have seen other reviews with good results consensus seems to be between 24-48 hours but the happy median being 36.
